  DIRTY STINKING BASE

  This place was absolutely terrible, I felt like I was livings shreks swamp .i went to the wax place Madame Tussauds and when I saw shrek I felt like I was home .when i took a dump the smell would linger all across the little room. My family doesnt love me anymore cause of my toxicated farts . I am now never going to your place. Nobody should go there unless your. A ogre . 1 tv worked and there is 2 and they were as tiny as a leprechaun.i give it 1 star for location review but it still stinks . There is shrek movie on the tv and I started crying cause I thought he robbed my house . If you go here your on a Ded ting and you stink, the flush didnt work so when I took a tuti (poo) everyone cause smell it .this place is BONKERS. No one go there for your own safety you will die cause my fart smell still lingers there

  Life Saver

  When we arrived in Blackpool and arrived at our original hotel we found it had been cancelled without our knowledge Darren the owner found us a room and couldn't have been more helpful as my daughter and I had been walking the streets looking for somewhere else to stay for over an hour Room was clean, had everything you needed iron, ironing board, kettle, tea and coffee etc and even a fridge! We stayed at the Fairway lodge in Room 9 Would definitely recommend

  Shitehole

  Me and my family recently stayed at the lodge in the basement room, firstly when we went down it was stinking like damp, the shower smelt like egg, the window was unable to be closed in the kitchen, the tv didnt work to start with and when darren fixed it the tv was still not in use, upon our arrival our front door was locked and a little girl had wandered into our apartment room through a brown door at top of stairs that reads staff only on other side. The electricity barely worked and the fuse was blasted out a few times. The pillows actually gave me the boak with the smell of it. I can actually relate the apparent meant to Shrek swap as a previous review had said. also a lot of bugs around. I will definitely not be back here at all as i feel physically ill now thinking about it again. I had only encountered one staff member so cannot comment on staff members but the accommodation was proper rancid.

  Never again!!

  I dont even know where to start. Firstly it was dirty, REALLY DIRTY. Found all sorts under the beds. The pillows had what I can only explain to be male juice all over them, the floors had clearly never seen a mop, the room smelt like pure damp and the shower smelt like poo was running from it. Baring in mind the room had 4 single beds in clearly indicates that its a sharing room yet the door to the bathroom didnt even shut let alone lock. Luckily my mate and her boyfriend didnt mind seeing my pits, t*ts and naughty bits. The whole place could only be described as a crack hostel. We had some mouthy crackhead with 21 kids from 21 different dads banging and screaming all night so when we told them to be quiet they started banging on our door and trying to get into our room. We rang the manager Darren to tell him the situation and he never spoke to us regarding it. He should of at least knocked on our door to apologise and reassure us that the situation was sorted . If fairway lodges isnt enough to put you off Blackpool, morning will be.

  Great Stay at Fairway Lodge, Blackpool

  Spent a Friday/Saturday night at the Fairway Lodge, just down the road from main Fairway Hotel, where you collect your keys! Good location for Central Pier, Blackpool North, Coral Island, beach and main shops. Although still enough out of the way from the main thoroughfare of holidaymakers. Good sized room, with a shower that works just nicely. The staff were great, pleasant greeting from the manager, overall everyone was welcoming and would bend over backwards to help, not literally Reasonable breakfast, definitely one of the better hotel bars, with a good layout and pool table. Well hosted by a very talented singer, so get yourself on the Karaoke. A good time was had by all in the bar, and during the Coronavirus, definitely a good option, especially if you don't like queues. Highly recommended
