  Good night for a tired traveler.

  We checked in here after a long day on the road and we were both not feeling well. As we pulled is we saw 2 buses pulling out. There was no wait to check in but it took awhile to get a room. The 2 buses had arrived early and taken most of the clean rooms. I definitely wanted 2 beds. Garrett and Yvette worked hard to find just what I wanted. I was cranky and just wanted to lay down. Garrett was so cheerful and he really kept apologizing for keeping me waiting. The room on the 5th floor was just what I needed. I didn't want to go back out for something to eat so I went down to see what snacks I could buy and discovered real frozen entrees! Popped that in the microwave. The bed was very comfortable with lots of pillows. I did get a good nights sleep and never heard the buses return. The entrance is a little tricky to find but was OK with Google directions. Thank you again for getting me the room I needed for the night.

  Best Fairfield yet!

  We have stayed at many Marriott properties and this newer one is squeaky clean . The new walk-in shower design featuring Tea Tree shampoo, conditioner and shower gel was top notch. Despite the challenges of dealing with the coronavirus the staff has done a class job providing a comfortable stay. While there was no disinfectant smell you could feel the property was pristine and well prepared for guests. If you are traveling during this difficult time do not hesitate to book a stay here.

  Understaffed Cleaning Service Leaves Safety Questionable

  The hotel appeared nice and clean but when I noticed...after I woke up...what appeared to be blood on my comforter that was not from me I seriously began to question the hotel cleanliness and safety given the COVID pandemic. I left a note in the room to change the bedding but when I got back to the hotel I was dismayed that my room had not been touched...no clean bedding...no fresh towels, etc. I immediately went to the front desk and asked the clerk are rooms not cleaned everyday? She replied...only by request and I asked why? Her reply was "well...with the pandemic we cannot clean every day" which was not the answer I was looking for. If they did not clean every day I would have expected to have been told this upon check in. The clerk did switch me to a new room but even the bedding in the new room did not smell fresh. When I went to the new room I noticed...at 8PM that the cleaning staff was still cleaning rooms down the hallway...WITHOUT MASKS...and with what appeared to be her kids with her. Then I put two and two together and figured out that this hotel was very understaffed in it's cleaning services. Needless to say I switched hotels the next night. I would avoid this hotel at this time out of concern for cleanliness and safety...

  nice one night stop

  Nice, clean hotel. Rooms comfy, clean, and spacious. Conveniently close to the highway. We only stayed one night while traveling. Nothing fancy, but we got a good night's sleep. Would recommend this hotel.

  Covid Alert

  We have stayed at this hotel previously and were happy to book it again. However, when we drove up to register there were up to 30 teenagers hanging out in the lobby and breakfast area, all of whom wore NO MASKS. I questioned the desk clerk and he responded that they refused to wear them and their adult leader would not enforce the hotel's clearly posted mask requirement. We stayed only because it was late and we had no choice. The hotel personnel took no responsibility for enforcing their own requirement on this night. Despite Marriott's offering supposedly safe Covid facilities, this clearly was not a Covid safe facility. We chose not to have the continental breakfast the next morning since these teens were hanging out all over the tables and I doubted anyone had sanitized them early in the morning. We have been staying at Fairfield Inns for many years and must say we will not patronize this one again.
