  Super Clean Hotel

  Was our first stay ever at a Fairfield Inn & Suites. Weve stayed at several other hotels in Rochester for Mayo trips but this has to be the cleanest of them all. And during these Covid times, that was very welcome. The General Manager (Angela) was very accommodating to my advance room requests and location. This was our first hotel stay since Covid started and we were expecting a few compromises (e.g. no breakfast buffet) but our experience with even that exceeded our expectations. Good location, short walk to a few restaurants and a very short five minute drive to the main Mayo campus. This is now on top of our list for return visits.

  I really wanted to give this hotel a higher rating. Ill start off by saying it is in a great location with regards to dining options near by, and only a 5 minute drive from the Mayo Clinic. The staff were all super friendly, and the hotel was spotless, both in the room and in common areas. The shower was great. What I found to be very disappointing was the noise from the highway. We had a south facing room on the third floor closest to the highway. This hotel is located only about 100 feet from the highway. The noise of traffic was unimaginable. We ended up having to stay in Rochester an additional night more that we had originally planned and ended up changing hotels on account of the noise.

  We stayed 3 nights in room 322. The location is great, 5 minutes from Mayo Clinic. The room was clean and the hotel looked new. The room and bathroom were spacious. Dogs are allowed, but the fee is higher than where I board my dog. The only negative thing about this hotel is that I wish the pet fee was a little bit lower! All staff and guests were required to wear masks. The staff were all very kind and helpful. The place was spotless. We observed staff cleaning and disinfecting in all areas of the hotel. Hand sanitizer was conveniently located everywhere. The hotel was not very crowded, about 20 cars in the lot each night. Although Fairfield Inn is right next to the highway, we did not hear traffic noise. The beds were comfy and we slept well. We did hear some foot steps from the room above us, but it wasn't constant. There was a grab and go breakfast with many choices. There is a nice park a block away! A grocery store, coffee shop, and other restaurants are nearby too.

  Great place to stay

  We stayed at the Fairfield Inn & Suites Rochester Mayo Clinic Area/Saint Mary's on a recent trip to Rochester for an appointment at Mayo. We have tried some different options but this hotel is the best we have found. We will stay here again! The hotel is very clean and has a very new feel about it. The hotel staff were masked and following COVID-19 guidelines. Breakfast was offered but it was packaged in the hotel kitchen for guests to take back to their rooms. Our room had a refrigerator and microwave - this made it possible to have a hot breakfast from the bagged breakfast sandwiches, etc. The pool and exercise room were closed due to state order due to COVID-19. We did not use it, but there was a shuttle that ran to Mayo from the hotel. We drove and found this hotel to be convenient to all of the major streets and roads. There were also plenty of dining options within a five minute drive and even several within walking distance if you visit during warmer months.

  Immaculate Lovely Boutique Feel Hotel

  This is an immaculate, lovely boutique feel hotel with well-appointed rooms, comfortable beds, free parking, well-trained staff, and a safe location. They offer a wonderful complimentary breakfast with several healthy options, including organic yogurt. We spent two weeks at this hotel while receiving treatment at the Mayo Clinic; the entire staff was professional, welcoming, knowledgeable, and accommodating. This hotel is our favorite in the Rochester area!!!
