Great Hotel Near shops and RestaurantsVery clean and cozy room. There were large bathrooms and comfortable beds. Breakfast was good and the area was nice and clean as well. We stayed for a tournament and there were many young people staying there as well, there was no noise and the rooms were very quiet.

Nice Hotel, Excellent Front Desk PersonnelMy husband & I stayed her for one night early Sep. 2020. We were helped by 2 ladies when we checked in. Unfortunately I didn't get their names but they were helpful & did an excellent job. They gave us a king room on the 1st floor. Our room had a walk-in shower, good lighting, microwave, fridge, coffee pot, full length mirror, a desk & chair to name a few items. The lobby was nice & bright. The included breakfast was just okay. It was a plain whole grain muffin, a strawberry cheerios bar, an apple or an orange and a small bottle of water. I do wish that there could be a choice of the types of muffin offered & a choice of granola bar. I wasn't a fan of those 2 items. Maybe 2 different bags could be offered so that guest could pick bag A or bag B. We had a good stay. It was a quiet place & very clean.

NEVER again. We reserved a room with two queen beds . When we arrived at 5 Pm we were told they had NO rooms with two queen beds despite the fact that we prepaid for a room with two queen beds . Apparently their housekeeping leaves at 4 pm and all of the queen rooms were left I cleaned for the day . I have two kids . I was offered a room with a queen bed or my money back. I didnt want my money back as it was now closer to 6 pm and we had a party we had been planning on going to at 6 pm that we needed a room to change . We took the room with the king bed and our kids on the floor and when we arrived there were NO towels . Was told they were being cleaned . So we were dirty and had to get changed to go to our event . When we came back at 10 PM they still had NO clean towels . Was told they would be done by 1030PM. I never write reviews. We will NEVER stay here again . I asked for my money back and was told NO. This place is awful.

A very nice hotelThe staff was friendly. The hotel and room was clean. The room was large and perfect for a small family or business trip. The only complaint that I have is with the breakfast. I understand brown bagging it but it could have been better. Also they only had bottled water and coffee. The juice machine was turned off. I don't drink coffee. And I am sure that the room rates have not reduced from when they provided a real breakfast to now.

Room with a burnt-out light?I had high hopes for the Fairfield Inn: its the news way of Wyomissings many hotels, and its away from the noisy freeways, roads and businesses elsewhere in town. But when I checked out the bathroom, I found the ceiling light wasnt working due to burnt-out bulb. I told the front desk staff midday, but when I returned to my room after 9pm the bulb was untouched age the room is dark. How can they mess this up? I mean, how many jokes begin How many ___ does it take to change a lightbulb? At the Wyomissing Fairfield Inn, the punchline is Zero ... we dont replace lightbulbs.
