  Great staff, great location, great hotel!

  Stayes 5 nights for business and had zero complaints. There is everything you could need within walking distance. The property is obviously newer and well maintained. Finally, the staff was outstanding! We hope to get back to this property.

  Wonderful staff, great rooms and great value!

  My family and I stayed at this Fairfield Inn and Suites last month and we were completely overwhelmed by how wonderful the staff was. We were there at a difficult time for our family, and everyone was being affected by the COVID-19 crisis. The staff went above and beyond during a trying time. Every single employee we encountered was fabulous. My family travels all over the world and we have stayed at some amazing resorts, but I have to say that I have never stayed at a hotel with such incredible facilities for such a reasonable price. I will absolutely stay at this hotel again and I highly recommend it to anyone who needs accommodations in that area of Pittsburgh. It is walking distance to several restaurants and a Trader Joe's!

  Not Following Face Mask Mandate

  I stayed for one night on August 10 with my daughter. At check-in two front-desk staff were wearing masks that did not cover their noses. This wasnt a case of the masks slipping. They were hanging far below their noses. It was clearly intentional. The CDC and other public health authorities have emphasized repeatedly over the last several months that masks are only effective if both the mouth and nose are covered. There have been thousands of news reports emphasizing this fact. Furthermore, Pennsylvania is among the states that has a mandatory mask policy. This is simply inexcusable. Anyone who cannot tolerate wearing a mask appropriately is not someone who is employable in a consumer-facing job period. If a hotel cannot follow simple public health mandates, its an epic failure. On my return trip through Pennsylvania I stayed at the Home2 Suites on the other side of the highway. At least for my one night stay their staff members wore their masks the right way.

  Can not complain about this one

  We stayed here during Covid-19 and this hotel went way beyond helping its customers protect themselves. From online checking in, to giving us towels,( we put used ones in a bag outside the door) coffee, any personal supplies, plastic bags for our garbage to be placed outside the door , grab bags in the morning with breakfast, bathrooms in lobby were locked and no sit down breakfast in the lounge( we stayed here when they did serve breakfast and it was very good) hand sanitizer in lobby and no housekeeping during Covid -19. The gym and pool were open. No one was using them. Masks had to be worn walking to our room. The suite had a glass walk in shower which I liked and no tub. We had two tvs and an additional sitting room with desk,rolling chair, two tables , couch. Coffee pot, microwave and refrigerator. We were within walking distance to restaurants, stores, movie theatre, shopping . All in all - very well runned hotel .

  Disappointing Stay and Response from GM - AVOID THIS HOTEL

  Traveled during Columbus Day Weekend. Cleanliness of my room was subpar and frankly alarming given the current COVID crisis. Hair all over the shower and bathroom. Ledge in shower had small hairs from a razor in a pool of soap. Hand prints on the shower door were not wiped clean from previous occupants. Water droplets had dried and let water spots over shower and glass - obviously wasn't cleaned/wiped. Crumbs on the floor and around the TV in the room. Staff were constantly away from the desk watching TV. I reached out to the GM who offered a discount on a future stay. No intention of returning to the hotel. Sent photos of the cleanliness issues and asked for a discount and haven't heard back from him after reaching out two additional times. Pool is indoor, but small. Not sure it's heated either. Children could only stand being in the water for 10-15 minutes before their lips were blue and they were to cold to continue.
