  Can do better

  Ive stayed here several since theyve opened three years ago. Its sad to see that changes are necessary if they want to me continue as a customer. The room is okay (king standard room) but not sure why I never noticed there is no blow dryer, Fortunately I always bring mine, but come on... The shower could use a shelf on the back wall. The soap dish mounted in the corner of the shower doesnt hold my shampoo bottle along with their soap and a razor. The buffet is okay- standard food. However, if did notice rusting on the inside of both waffle irons (a total turn-of) and the warmer for the sausage was turned off- possibly dangerous to let the meat get cold. We had the dnd on our door until 2pm. Upon going out we asked the front desk to have housekeeping clean our room. When we returned after 9pm the room was as we left it- bed unmade, no clean towels. The front desk staff seems stretched- only one person on site. They handle the desk, phone and food. Id really like to return here but have some hesitation. Ill keep my eyes posted on other future reviews to see if I return.

  Average Stay

  This was the second time that I stayed at the Fairfield Inn in Willow Grove. The first time was a few months after it opened. At that time, I had a good experience except for the heating/cooling system which was very loud in the room we stayed. It sounded like a freight train. This recent stay was a different experience. The first room we were given, was not completely clean. The bathroom seemed to either have been abandoned on cleaning or someone used it after it was cleaned (dirty towels, etc). The front desk was very accommodating and put us in a room down the hall. This room was very quiet and comfortable and we got a good nights sleep. However, the room was definitely in need of some deep cleaning. The mirror was streaked and didnt seem as though it had been cleaned in a long time, and there was dust on the dressers. To top our visit off, the hotel ran out of breakfast in the morning. Given that the hotel personnel we interacted with were very helpful and nice, we will give it another chance.

  Bugs, crumbs, and hair - Oh, my!

  Ugh. My first stay at this hotel four weeks ago yielded a bug in my bed. My second stay tonight blessed me with dirty sheets, including a hair that is not mine and bread crumbs from someone elses snack. I cant control the heat in the room - the thermostat doesnt respond to changes (same problem as with the room of our first stay). When I checked in, I asked for a room on the front of the building, away from the elevators. Of course, they put me in a room on the opposite side, in front of the elevators. My last stay here.

  Excellent Hotel in Willow Grove

  I needed a hotel last minute and I am happy I chose the Fairfield Inn in Willow Grove.  It is a quick drive to Philadelphia and Trenton.  I was working in both places, so it is perfectly situated.  The hotel is located in a suburban and business park area that enables you to get work done and not be stressed in a major urban area like Philly.  The hotel has nice large rooms equipped with small refrigerators, microwaves, and coffee makers.  There is fast and free wireless internet in the rooms and throughout the property.  Parking is free and breakfast is complimentary.  There is even a gym and pool.  Unfortunately, I couldn't use a lot of amenities, but I am happy they are here when I need them next.  The check-in staff agent was really nice and helpful when allowing me to choose my room.  I appreciated that extra touch.  They also recognized my status with Marriott Bonvoy.  Overall, I had an excellent night's sleep in a comfortable room.  I will stay here again.

  Not worth the money

  We booked this room for 119 on hotels.com and it was 130 with taxes. We booked, in part, because it said we had free breakfast for all. There was no breakfast as pre-covid, only a brown bag with water, a muffin, and an apple. Then, they limited it to 2 bags per room and acted angry because, as the front desk clerk stated, they were running out. There was no coffee downstairs and only mini coffee maker with 2 pods, 2 sugars, and 1 cream packet. There were no snacks available downstairs in the snack area. The 3rd floor smelled strongly of weed and noisy children ran up and down the hall until late at night. The room was clean and the beds were comfy, but the staff and amenities were sadly lacking.
