  Emergency Stay

  When my kids got stranded and needed a room for the night with no money. This was the only Hotel around Cooks Children that allowed me to make a payment via credit card over the phone. Would recommend to anyone. The staff was super friendly and helpful even bringing a baby bed up for my granddaughter.

  Ok place but very disappointing fitness center

  It's a good location for TCU and to walk/run in pretty areas. The employees were nice. I was stuck outside the door alone for quite a while after midnight one night when the card reader would not recognize my key and there was no one at the front desk. I called from the phone outside and it rang over 100 times before someone heard it. That was frustrating. I started to call the 800 number to see if they could find someone to help me but then a woman came out to let me in. It was my second day there and I had not had any issues with my keys until then. Also, I was on the third floor and could hear people walking around loudly on the fourth floor. The fitness center was very disappointing. Three cardio machines and that was it. No weights, nothing else, very small, Covid-scary room with little/no ventilation. Most hotels offer some weights, mats and things but there was nothing. I will not return - I like to workout when I travel and couldn't do anything there.

  Covid makes for interesting things. This hotel freed up some rooms at the last minute and I was very lucky to be able to book one. They were wonderfully staffed and everyone was more than helpful and friendly. My room was very comfortable and they were more than willing to get clean towels and more coffee when I ran out. No cleaning rooms except every 3rd or 5th day... yea, Covid. I would certainly try and stay at this hotel again... as of my stay, face masks were not required by guests...

  Great Stay

  After staying one night at anther "hotel" we promptly checked out and booked at this Fairfield Inn. We arrived early and our unit type was not available so the front desk agent gave up a complimentary upgrade so we would not have to wait. The suite was spacious and clean. When Marriott puts their name on it you can guarantee it's going to be clean. We were their for week and due to Covid you do need to change your own linen and ask for fresh towels but everyone we encountered was friendly and always willing to help. We didn't use it but the indoor pool looked clean and inviting. Also due to Covid there is no breakfast but their is a breakfast place right next door. We will definitely be staying here again the next time we are in Fort Worth!

  Disappointed

  I'm not sure what has happened at this hotel. Hopefully, my stay was just an isolated one. First, there was a bunch of little pieces of fuzz and lint or something in the hallway carpets and it was clear they had not been vacuumed in a while. Inside my room, it appears somebody had been using it after the cleanup staff finished or maybe the cleaning person used it after they had finished cleaning. The toilet paper was ragged torn, not straight across like they usually leave it (see picture) and there were stains in the toilet. Also, the pillows were messed up (see picture) as if somebody took a nap and just threw them back the way they should have been. I understand the staff may have to use the bathroom and perhaps even take a nap, but they should do it before they finish cleaning the room, not after. It was late and I was really tired or I would have refused the room, but I decided it wasn't worth the hassle since otherwise, the room was clean. The next morning, the tub was very slow draining so by the time I got out of the shower, I was standing in ankle-deep soapy water. The muffin I had from the takeaway breakfast was very stale and the coffee barely lukewarm. I've stayed here before and it was a good stay, but this one, especially for the $101 price, was very disappointing. Certainly not up to Fairfield standards this time.
