  Excelente hotel. maravillosa gente prestando servicio

  Saliendo de la molestia en el Hampton, al final del complejo de hoteles de Florence SC encontramos este extraordinario Hotel, la señorita de la recepción menudita, hablaba con un acento muy divertido, nos atendió a cuerpo de Rey, explicó las tarifas y nos dio palmadas en el hombro por la tragedia de "Irma". El hotel concretamente esta muy bien diseñado, arquitectónicamente hablando, la decoración muy bella, los baños, los muebles, la lencería todo de lo mejor.El desayunos a la altura de ese nivel de alojamiento. Lo mas importante el trato de parte del personal. Fue tanto lo que nos gusto que de regreso nos alojamos otra vez misma dama grácil y bella nos atendió. Muy satisfechos y agradecidos.

  Reservation Doesn't Mean a Thing

  Had a reservation for a room with two beds booked two months in advance. Checked in online the day before. Arrived and was given keys to a room with one king bed. Returned to front desk to have manager tell us there were no more rooms with two beds. Manager acted like she was doing us a favor to call other Marriott properties in the area for a room with two beds. When she found one at a nearby Residence Inn, she proceeded to tell me that I should call the hotel myself to reserve the room. She couldn't be bothered and basically told us to leave the property. Ended up taking two rooms at the Residence so we would each have a bed. Subsequently called the hotel twice to speak to the GM and left messages. Never heard back. Just atrocious customer service. Needless to say I will never stay here again since they obviously don't care about honoring their reservations.

  Stopover on our trip to Florida

  I booked this hotel because of the location and the reviews. We always look and stay in Marriott properties. We checked in after an 11 hour drive. I could not wait to relax, have a cup of coffee and take a shower. No shampoo or decaf coffee in the room. I had to go back to the front desk and wait as the front desk person now had to check in 2 new guests. The room was not cleaned well. The bathroom floor was dirty and there were hairs on the floor! Ughhh!! Not my idea of what I expect from a Marriott. I will be staying elsewhere the next time I am in the Florence area

  Nice place

  Easy access off the interstate. Lots of places to eat that are nearby. They had a fitness center that was open to one person at a time or a two if you were traveling together (due to COVID Regs). Very clean. There was a walking trail nearby that was easy and a nice break

  Terrible Customer Service

  We stayed one night at this hotel on a Friday evening on our way to Florida. The bed and pillows were not that comfortable but the room looked cleaned. I noticed that the bathroom sink was not draining very well and the water was filling up in the sink very quickly. We even had to brush our teeth using the bath tub because the sink was about to overflow. We had to get up early the next morning so during check out I explained to the front desk agent named; "Will" that our sink was stopped up and that we had to brush our teeth using the bath tub. Will's response was that he would let maintenance know about the sink and he thanked us for telling him. He offered us No compansasion. We also asked Will for a large trash bag to cover some luggage that we had on our luggage rack because it was going to rain that morning and Will told us that they only have small clear trash bags. I then went to the breakfast area and asked the lady serving breakfast for a large black trash bag like the ones that were in the trash cans in the breakfast area and she told me that they keep them at the front desk and to just ask the guy at the front desk. I went back to the front desk and asked Will one more time for a large black trash bag and that the breakfast lady said that they were up here. Will again told me that he didn't have any large black trash bags. We ended up leaving the hotel and going next door to another hotel and they gave us a large trash bag even though we didn't even stay there.
