  Very nice, new inn

  Fairfield Inn & Suites is the newest lodging choice in Detroit Lakes. The staff members were very friendly, and there was a good selection for breakfast - including dairy-free and gluten-free options. In addition to a small swimming pool, there is a fitness center with weights, yoga mats, elliptical machines, and treadmills. The only advice I can offer is this: The inn is nice and new - keep it that way by maintaining repairs and a high standard of cleanliness, especially things that are easy to overlook such as pink mold in the bathroom. If I am in DL again and need lodging, I will consider staying at the Fairfield Inn.

  Clean and friendly!!

  We were traveling in the area and had a relaxing stay at the Fairfield Inn. The hotel was extremely clean and the front desk service was welcoming. The area is very nice and the location is centrally located within walking distance to restaurants and parks. We would definitely stay again.

  Great Stay

  My friend and I stayed at the Fairfield Inn for a little get away. I had noticed the Fairfield Inn the last time I was in Detroit Lakes, so this time through we decided to stay there. The hotel was very clean, and all of the staff that we encountered were extremely friendly and helpful. The staff followed the Marriott protocol in regards to COVID -19 - wore face masks, had hand sanitizer available, had proper signage regarding social distancing and had some tables in front of the check in area to guarantee the 6 ft space. My friend and I actually liked that breakfast was serve in a bag - the night before you select the items you want, drop the form off at the front desk, and then in the morning you could either pickup the breakfast or have it delivered to your room. As I had mentioned earlier, the staff was all very friendly - I just wish I could remember everyone's name. If I get the chance, I would definitely stay at this Fairfield Inn again.

  Doing great despite COVID!

  I was a little nervous to travel in the midst of a global pandemic, but the staff has done an excellent job to make me feel safe and at home. I have to give a special shout out to Shirley for serving a yummy, socially distant breakfast each morning during our stay. She greeted us with a warm smile and took great care of our breakfast needs! THANK YOU SHIRLEY!

  Off-Season But Still Excellent

  The front desk person was so kind and helpful and made it a nice welcome on a cold December evening. The location right on the lake makes for a great view. It's a very clean property and we were extremely pleased with our room and sleep quality. There are a few dining options nearby but due to COVID, only take out. Breakfast was bagged in the morning, but quite adequate.
