    Amazing Service

    First, I have to commend Carlos Varela, the staff. This man is amazing. He had a full lobby and just to get people through was speaking multiple languages. People were rude to him, but he remained very professional. He helped us better than any hotel staff ever has. Above and beyond, truly.

    Amazing Valentines Day stay

    I had an amazing stay at the Fairfield inn on the weekend of Valentines Day! The hotel accommodations were exactly what My partner and i needed to have a romantic weekend. Check in was super easy and the gentleman that helped me book via telephone; Carlos S. Was more than welcoming and inviting. He even remembered who i was when i came to check in! He also gifted my mate and I a rose. Along with Carlos was Tracey E. She in addition helped make us feel more than welcomed at the Fairfield inn. I dont know about you but I absolutely love when the staff is attentive, caring and professional at my choice hotels and this for sure made my stay even that much greater. In addition to all this wonderful hospitality we were also able to do a late check out and who doesnt love a late check out. I will definitely be back. Ive found me a hotel home away from home

    Friendly Staff

    Carlos is very friendly and welcoming. Overall nice expirience at the hotel. They have a good set of amenities like gym and the pool. Their hot tub is amazing especially in the winter. I recommend this hotel

    Hands down best hotel in area

    Carlos is the reason many of us business healthcare professionals drive specifically and only specifically to this location!!!!! He is a gentleman who works in guest services at the front that makes even the most stressful of days or commutes pleasant. He always goes above and beyond. He showed me the bonvoy member rewards and app and helped me get signed up with it which has been very beneficial To me. He Remembers specific details from last stays... you dont just feel like another room # to him. He remembers your name and has even realized my key wouldnt work and had met me with a replacement before I was at the 3rd floor or guided food delivery to the proper place or let me know they just left it without knocking so it wouldnt get cold. He fixes what needs to be done without making us guests feel like we are being a burden. He doesnt wait for a complaint and foresees what needs to be done for a perfect stay and has handled things I needed but felt nervous about having to burden the front without even asking if there even was ever any slight issue he has fixed the problems. I seriously dont have enough space to write how valuable he is to the company. When he leaves and I have had to get additional rooms for other staff / travel nurses coming in to work as healthcare providers in last minute locations he is quick to accommodate or leave notes to make others jobs easier upon their start time for any last minute need whereas It is not the same with other staff or locations specifically! I will drive further to this hotel to stay for the professionalism he shows compared to even the newer Livonia location who had someone from a third party hired to work the front who wasnt familiar with basics such as breakfast accommodations, or with healthcare provider discounts or even late arrivals for traveling healthcare providers who are last minute getting assignments. Carlos makes me feel like family and its not just me. I have seen him treat each and every guest the same and handle disgruntled guests with the best attitude even when it Clearly wasnt anything on the hotel or him specifically. Even the hardest of guests I swear I have seen leave happier then when they first walked in. He has even made sure they had change in quarters for us to exchange late at night for us to wash our scrubs last minute. He seriously knows every detail of that hotel and Marriott chains and extensions and its policies. You can see he enjoys his career with the company and takes pride in doing his very best and even is polite when I have been wrong about certain things whereas others have made me feel defensive or attacked. I have now continued to have all our providers now transfer to stay here when coming in or other Marriott Fairfield locations out of state because he left me with such positive experiences 100% of the time I know I wont have to worry!! I never chose this hotel before honestly but now will only stay here or with this chain because of him and the wonderful stays provided to me. I will 100% keep staying here at the stansbury location in Farmington hills and solely with this company vs another hotel chain in the future no matter what state and will 100% keep recommending it to colleagues and family alike. He even found me a staybridge suites location and helped me with accommodations when I really needed it!! The rooms are always clean, fresh and sheets nice and crisp. Thank you Carlos so much for all you do especially now during covid-19. I love this hotel and you are a main reason! -amber Reynolds
