  I just cant anymore

  Im really disappointed to be writing this review. This used to be my go-to hotel when in town for business, because it was newish and clean, and the staff was friendly. Then, two stays ago, a front desk associate informed me I could not have any toilet paper because I opted in for Green Choice. Seriously?! Thinking that was an aberration, I stayed again this week. I arrived late and was told the only room left was a handicapped accessible, which I did not reserve. How come their reservation inventory cant assign later reservations to the rooms they actually have left? When I got to the room, there was also an adjoining door (deal breaker for me), and a severe vibration under the floor which left me motion sick in the morning. The desk associate promised she would call me and move me the next day. I never heard from them. I checked into a different hotel while waiting for a new room, and they CANCELLED THE REMAINDER OF MY RESERVATION, without calling or notifying me through the app. As a frequent business traveler, this kind of customer service is unacceptable. I will not be back. Unfortunate, because they used to be great.

  A great place to stay

  This Fairfield Inn in Canton,Mi is exceptional the staff,the very clean rooms the breakfast the over all appearance of the property is such great place to stay we have stayed there many times and plan to stay again in the near future.Thank you to all

  Clean and fair price

  Arrived and found the front desk staff prompt and polite. Rooms are very modern and well kept. Close to restaurants and shopping by foot or vehicles. Pool and fitness room closed currently due to COVID 19.

  A Great Week's Stay

  My wife and I syaed at the Fairfield Inn & Suites for a week, August 9 through 16. We had originally booked to stay at another motel for eight nights, but the morning after our first night there wy wife said, "We have to get out of here". I drove next door and the fantastic clerk at the Fairfield was not only able to book us into a new room for a week but we could move in right away; seven-thirty on a Sunday morning. Big points with my wife. The room at the Fairfield was clean, quiet and dark. Quiet and dark are important when you are sleeping in a strange room. The motel appeared to be in full compliance with Covid-19 restrictions. For breakfast is was coffee, juices, cereals, pastries and a selection of yogurt. The staff was pleasant and eager to be of help whenever we needed it.

  The worst service Ive experienced while living in Canton.

  I called in the morning 6am to see if any rooms were available, the lady at the front desk didnt answer my call until my 4th call (ridiculous). When she answered she said yes. I told her Ill call you right back after booking the room online (Company Discount). I call back after placing my reservation and Im told my room wont be ready until the evening, after them telling me it is available now. Then, Im placed on hold for 40minutes (the waiting game of course). After, talking to her manager she said that my only option is to pay more money to accommodate my reservation. I feel like because were in a pandemic and business isnt as booming as much as it was before the outbreak, that almost all businesses find little additional charges to tack on to make up for lost revenue. I dont feel it is fair that my company offers me a discounted rate on hotels but FairfieldInn Suites Marriot refuses. Im not sure how to voice my concern but this is just a start. Just a warning to others planning on staying, dont ask if they can accommodate a early check no matter what the situation is, theyll end up charging you for another full night. If this happens make sure you call you let bank immediately. Update the photo was taken around 545 pm The front desk lady tells me the reason she placed me on hold was because shes the only person working here. I walk in the lobby and she outside smoking cigarettes. The lady at the front desk sounds like shes sleep, often walks out to smoke cigarettes, the lobby smells of smoke now that Im here. A guest in the lobby asked wheres the coffee, the front desk lady scratches her head in disbelief. This is almost funny if it wasnt 6:50am!!!!
