Major DisappointmentAs a loyal Bonvoy Guest I knew if i discharged myself from the hospital for my father in laws 76th birthday party I could relax at the hotel as if I were at home. Because Marriott never lets me down...until this time. On November 8th I called the hotel and they confirmed an early check in for both my family members. We drove from Boston and arrive around 9 and got to the desk and a Ms Jasmine told me only one room was available. Unbeknownst to her I know people in the Revenue Management department that looked into the system to see there were plenty of rooms available to check in. I was asked to check in later and figured Si would go for a stroll around the mall and returned around 11 or noon-ish. She said there were no rooms available so I asked for a call when rooms were available. Again being a sock person I went to the car and drove around a bit. It was 4pm when I returned after not receiving a call and checked in after another long wait. Here I am sick with tons of bags and jasmine is leaving. As a Gold member I expected a little more personal care and special care as i have been given in the past i must of waited for another 30 minutes to check in because there was a long line. I was so frustrated. The rest of the stay was decent but that poor service from the check in agent set a bad tone for the rest of my stay. On my drive back home I messaged the GM who responded with I apologize Ill speak to her. I worked at these hotels for 15 years. I promise you that is not the cold & dry response you should give your guests after a bad experience. Its taken me so long to write this review because Im still sick but the feeling of that check in process and the disappointment of being promised one thing and not receiving it. Service you pay for and use to receiving and in one visit have that tarnished. I wanted to tweet @marriott that day to share my experience but wanted to give the GM an opportunity to fix this. But nope. That never happened.

Washington, D. C. Hockey tournamentWow. Booked hotel through Big Bear Hockey Tournaments. When I booked hotel three weeks in advance, I asked if they accepted service dogs and they said yes. Drove 4.5 hours from Pennsylvania and when we got there, they told us no dogs. I said hes a service animal and I asked previously if he could stay. They still said no. Night manager was very rude with my wife and I about it. We have stayed in numerous hotels during our kids sporting events and never had a problem. I guess there is a first time for everything. Too bad its the last time we stay at Fairfield Inn.

Excellent Stay & ServiceA group of us stayed here for two nights while volunteering with an organization in the area. From the time we entered the doors, the staff members were friendly and welcoming. We had arrived a bit early and they allowed us to check into one of our rooms. They also were great at answering questions and just conversing whenever we stopped by. Both of the rooms that our group had were spacious and clean. The lobby, pool and other public areas were clean and comfortable as well. Breakfast was fresh and well stocked. It was the standard continental breakfast offerings, which was plenty. Id definitely stay here if were in the area again. They went out of their way to make it a great stay.

Always a good stayWas in town visiting family and stayed here for 3 nights during Covid. We stay here several times a year - always an excellent stay. Had a King Suite, very spacious, very comfortable. Staff was very friendly - even helped us with a Grandson's birthday scavenger hunt! Staff wears masks. Somewhat limited breakfast was grab and go - we went back up to our room to eat cereal and yogurt and fruit. Pool was not open due to County Health Dept rules. Will be back!
