  NOT a 4 star establishment - Dirty, not worth the money

  We first stayed at Grosvernor Gardens in 2017. Could not find fault with anything besides that we left quite an expensive blanket (which belonged to my late father ) in our room, and obviously it disappeared before we even left through the gates! Very sad about that, but what can you do. Booked in again on 20/01/2018. What a disappointment. First room didn't have a balcony door and really smelled bad. Asked politely to be moved to another, which they did. 1: Air-conditioning was extremely poor quality. 2. Dirt stains on floor in front of toilet and shower. 3. Dustbin looks like it was hit against the wall. 4. Fridge DIRTY on outside. Looked like dirty finger /food marks. Really unacceptable and gross. 5. Still dying of heat we tried to go outside, door could not open. 6. Asked to be moved - they only had a room without air-conditioning! Got our money refunded, and went to Goodeys Guest house about 600m away. What a beautiful clean place. Stayed in room 1. Absolutely amazing. If you ever need a place to sleep in east Pretoria, please do yourself a favor and book at Goodeys. Grosvenor Gardens will NEVER see us again.

  Large two bedroom unit is great

  We stayed here for almost three months while having a total knee replacement done. The two bedroom unit is spacious, the kitchen adequate. The cleaning staff does not come in normally on Sundays. Quiet. The beds are fine.

  Beautiful accommodation at a very fair price.

  Grosvenor Gardens was absolutely stunning and although it's located in quite a busy hub, it is very peaceful. The self-catering facilities ensure that you have a home away from home. All amenities advertised on their website are available. Overall comfortable and a great experience! I'd definitely recommend it!

  Not safe!

  My parents and I were booked to stay at this hotel but unfortunately was robbed at gunpoint at their gate. We were not physically hurt but all our belongings were taken from us. The only member of staff we interacted with was the security guard. Most horrendous experience of my life! Would not recommend it to anyone.

  Exceptional

  We stayed here in July 2019. The apartments were exceptional and clean. Furnishing was high end. Situated within the busy city of Pretoria. Plenty of university students around. Loved it because it was home away from home. There's are garden within the complex, very small yet nice. Well maintained apartments.. Will definitely book this apartment again.
