AVIODAfter another hotel over booking we were put up in the Faber Hotel/Apartments, on arriving the place looked average although parts of the apartment could do with being refurbished including the bathroom which was very small and shower cubicle very dirty, cooker didn't work . The main issue for me was the apartment next door had a RAT running around the apartment for several nights and very little was done which made me very anxious for the 2 weeks I was there. The boy's in the bar are lovely and go out of their way to make you enjoy your holiday (very hard to do with the company of a RAT ) I won't be back in the Faber ever again and I'd advise you to avoid don't like vermin

1st Visit to TurkeyThis was our 1st visit to Turkey and we will definitely be back. We thought the rooms could do with a bit of a revamp but friends who are regular travellers to Turkey had a look and said they were of a very good standard for Turkey (we normally holiday in Spain). I have to add that they were fine and we slept soundly each night. The staff were outstanding, so helpful and friendly. Happy and Mehmet were wonderful! Such good fun to be around. You must try the food at the hotel it was beautiful and great value for money. The cleaning staff were at the room every day - such pleasant girls. The Faber completely changed our opinion of Turkey and when we go back that will be where we stay! It appears that a lot of people there were returning guests and that speaks for itself!

Stay 2020 - very poorPeople were really helpful and always pleasant. location was excellent and easily reach to town in approx 5/7 mins. The pool area had a lot of cracked tiles and was rarely cleaned nor were the sunbeds. 80% of the sunbeds are in the shade the majority of the day. Our room was filthy, floors, shower area, balcony. Hall light was hanging had what looked like cardboard hanging out it, bed settee ripped and dirty. Beds changed twice in two weeks and the towels were grey, hard and stained. The net curtain heading to the balcony was also all stained and the velux window to keep it open you had to wedge something in it. The access to the apartment had a large junction box we had to continuously close to pass it.

HorribleI wouldn't give faber 1 star, wasnt welcomed very well on arrival just asked if i wanted a safe and air con remote for extra charges nor told about time to check out when it was time to leave. Patio door handle wasnt fitted very well made it a pain to lock but after a few attempts we found a way of closing. Some lights didnt work in room, floors were disgusting and down side of some furniture was food that had clearly been there from other guests, tv aerial was 2 wires taped together. Trying to get in and out of the hotel is a nightmare as there are so many sunbeds crammed around the pool they barely left enough room to get a pram infront of them without falling into the pool, the same goes for when the tables are out out for the resturaunt at night. Some guests were always out in the pool bar area from 11pm till around 2:30am if you got back inbetween theese times you would struggle to get to sleep as the guests would be speaking so loudly and laughing so hard it would keep you up even with the door closed, we did speak to the bar staff about this but the response was "theyre on holiday" it took a complaint to the rep the following day for it to be sorted for all of 2 nights peace before it started again, this time we spoke to the manager and it seemed to die down again for another few days. Cleaners did not wear any masks when entering your room if you was in them and mainly only made your bed, emptied your bin and what we think is a mop in your toilet.

Great Hotel with friendly staff.Stayed here in August after walking out of our original hotel after one night. We loved it here. Its back from the main strip so quiet at night. Any food we tried at off their menu was good and two nights a week they have entertainment. One consisted of a BBQ with entertainment for £10 per head and the other a claypot night (chicken, lamb, or beef). Both were very good. The pool never seemed to get over busy but the sun does move round and large areas loose the sun at different times. Rooms were good size and cleaned every day. Lost count of how many times beds were changed. 10 minute walk to beach and main strip and plenty of restaurants within a few minutes walk. Definately recommend.
