Modern otthon a veszpremi `volgyben`We wanted to spend some quality time with a friend close to nature and faraway from the busy city life. Veszprem is only 1hr driving from Budapest and after this short trip we found ourselves in the cosy suburb of Veszprem. Walking distance from the Zoo that we visited later on. The hotel is brand new, has 2 buildings. Upon arrival with a very small extra we upgraded ourselves to the building where we could comfortably access the jakuzzi and saunas. The reception staff was always friendly and efficient, they heated up the sauna for us upon request and as the whole place is so new and fresh it gave such a good feeling to be there and come back. Specialty the original towel forms on the beds ;) we had a bunny!

Ezusthid PanzioMy boyfriend and I spent three nights here at the end of November/early December 2013. I remarked to my boyfriend that our bedroom seemed as though we were the first people to ever stay in it - it was spotless. It was also warm despite temperatures of about 5 degrees celsius outside and some frost one morning. We liked the free internet and the availability of parking by the front door. There was a tv which we didn't watch - and we couldn't find any English programmes. The hotel is about one minute's drive from the E66 Highway, and it didn't take long to drive the opposite direction into the town centre where the pay and display car parks were fairly cheap. Our breakfast was nice quality with a good choice of breads, two types of jam, cheese, meat, fruit and yogurt and several cereals. There was also bacon, frankfurter sausages and scrambled egg but the eggs and sausages had run out before we came down for breakfast on one occasion. The reception is manned 24 hours a day and the staff are helpful and speak good English and they gave us a useful map of the town. The stairs haven't got a handrail, but there is a lift. The hotel has a small bar (which we didn't use), and there was a fridge in our bedroom which we could have plugged in if we had wanted to. There were no tea and coffee making facilities in the bedroom (which we had anticipated, this seems to be normal in Hungary). We would be happy to recommend this hotel to other visitors to Veszprem.

Good place to stay for a business trip and/or vacation with familyNew, modern hotel with comfortable and clean rooms, located at quiet district of Veszprem (ca. 15min walking distance from center). Great breakfast, very kind and professional staff giving all the necessary information about sightseeing and things to do. Basically good place for staying during business trip and vacation with family as well. Thank you for everything! Regards, Greg W

Good hotel base for local areaVery good rooms for 2 night stay to see Vesprem, Lake Balaton and surrounding sights. Clean and fresh room, good service and breakfast selection. A kettle in room was requested but not available, so small inconvenience. Vesprem disappointing but Balaton, Tihany, Herend porcelain and hill town/ castles were all very good.

Very nice hotel and staffMy family and I stayed here for one night while I was in town on business. The hotel was very nice - clean, comfortable, well furnished, etc. The included breakfast was delicious! The service was also wonderful, and everyone was very accommodating. My only dislike was that is was located just a little too far out of town. It took about 15 minutes walking to get to the edge of the town center, and another 5-10 minutes passed that to get to the castle. Normally this would be fine, but the restaurant at the hotel is only open for breakfast and there are no restaurants or stores located in the immediate area. This meant a bit of walk to get dinner, and of course the walk back in the dark. Depending on your plans though, this may not be an issue. Also be aware that on Sundays the majority of restaurants in town are no open. Otherwise, a very nice stay!
