  Reception guy was behaving like a government officer

  However I have been in Extended Stay America hotel of different location, experience was not so good for this located in Hillside. Lady at reception was rude to ask for any detail. She was behaving like we were there upon her mercy. Actually, we had arrived the hotel 1 hour prior to booking time, as my kids were upset after long drive from Michigan to Chicago, so we wanted to skip city tour and just rest with kids. But she refused saying 'U can only see me when your booking time starts'. Even in another instances, when we were extending our stay for one more day, she was behaving like a government official. She was only good when we were check-out and she was asking for good feedback. Room no 103, where we stayed, was okay but furniture were too old, floor were only cleaned in front and not sides of the bed. Telephone was out of order. We did not reported for phone as we never required to use landline phone. Quality of towels were not good and seemed worn out.

  Disgusting hotel.

  During our family trips we have been in hotels near the highways because our family loves to make road trips and we have never ever experienced such a disgusting staying in a hotel. Our rooms were not clean, the hallways smelled awful, the bathroom was not clean, etc. Also the staff members were not kind.

  AWFUL EXPERIENCE! STAY AWAY!

  The receptionist, DYMOND, was extremely hostile, rude, and demeaning to my husband and I when we first arrived. She did not greet us and challenged my reservation. Her treatment was TERRIBLE and THREATENING. Then there was the room. When we arrived to our room, the door was left afar. The room smelled bad and there was only ONE BATH TOWEL. The whole experience at Extended Stay America-Hillside, Chicago was the WORST I have ever had. We will NEVER STAY AT THIS OR ANY EXTENDED STAY AMERICA establishment again. STAY AWAY!

  Awesome crew

  Everyone makes me feel like family and with respect. I give them back what they give me. No issues with the employees. Friendly, I think of them as part of my family. So glad I choose the hillside location for my in Between housing.

  Disgusting

  Do not stay at this hotel. halls smell disgusting. Customer service was terrible & the restrooms were falling apart! Pay a few more extra dollars and stay at a nicer hotel. I dont give reviews, but i figured this might sway someone away from this place.
