Just disappointing...Lost power in the storm, so looked for a local option for the night to have a hot shower and electricity for the night. The room was in need of updates, fridge had dents and was beat up, there was writing on the backsplash on the kitchen counter, filthy hallways, etc. This is clearly a housing option for some people, which is no big deal, but I would suggest separating the areas to put business or other travelers in different areas. Children yelling and running around the lobby and hallways. There were NO utensils, teapot, cups, etc in the room (don't know why this is the case when it has a kitchenette with stove). What's worse here is I see all the manager responses to similar feedback but clearly no improvements have been made, or restitution to customers who have had negative experiences. Very disappointing. Should have chosen the Marriott which is very close by.

Solid option when visiting SalemWe were in town for a wedding in Salem. This was a great option and the only reason it was overpriced was because that area is insane during Halloween. Decent levels of cleanliness and the staff was great. The only issue with the room (and all rooms will have this issue) is the lack of fan/vents in the bathrooms. So be forewarned: Your friends will be able to hear you poop.

October overnight option when Salem prices are crazyAt 7 pm, no one was at the reception desk, just a note to call the manager. He checked us in and helped fix a few things in our room. He was busy but cordial. My take on the Extended Stay is that it appears like the office park location isn't working out for the hotel as they expected, but they were trying to fix and maintain it. The room was large with two double beds and a kitchenette, though the bathroom was tight. For a hotel in an office park, it was odd there was no desk and no chair to use the island counter as a desk. In addition, the layout didn't work in that the TV was perpendicular to the two-seater couch and the beds. At some point, the room had been updated (curtains, bedding, artwork, wood floor in kitchenette), but the stained rug and dejected paint colors need replacing. At night, it was quiet and we couldn't hear any other guests. We were tired and slept well. Like us, the clientele seemed to be tourists visiting Salem's Haunted Happenings, since the hotel was reasonably close to Salem, though not inexpensive. We appreciated the Halloween decorations. "Free hotel breakfast" consisted of prepackaged muffins, granola bars, and instant oatmeal.

SketchyYikes, find somewhere else. Dirty, poorly furnished. Maybe it was the time of the year, but look for another option. Breakfast was limited, and overrun, needed a rag to wipe a table. Luckily, theres always dunkin donuts.

Would definitely stay here again! The staff at this hotel was very nice and accommodating when we had some issues. It's not a full 5 stars because our first room smelled badly of smoke but we were able to be moved. The walls are pretty thin so we could hear our neighbors pretty clearly. And also, there is one washing machine that says $2 (like all the rest) and then once you put the money in, it raises to $4 and won't start. We had to ask the desk about it and were told that the machine does that, apparently it's a glitch and they did help us, but there should be a note on the washer. Other than that, again the staff was always friendly and ready to help, and the rooms were very clean. In the end we LOVED our final room and had a lovely time. Would stay here again.
