    Absolutely gorgeous

    What a lovely place to stay!! Fully functional apartment with two large bedrooms and huge bathroom. Great price for what it is. Quiet. Clean. Very well looked after by owners. Large kitchen and room to move. Can accomadate 4 adults easily.

    Family overnight

    Stayed for one night family of 4. Nice and big plenty of room. Nice and clean as well. Quiet location. Happy with the accom and would stay again. However dissatisfied with getting an email on check in day that we would have to go to Charlestown to get check in details or provide credit card and license copies when we were already traveling which was impossible. They did sort us out with a solution however. This information should be provided before booking and well before check in day

    Comfortable, Good Custmer Care, Tricky Parking

    Stayed in Apartment 3, prior to Christmas. Overall, very happy with our stay here even though we had a few minor issues. Dishwasher had a lot of food scraps (mushrooms) left in the bottom of it. There was some sort of gel on one of the bedside tables. The iron had melted stuff stuck to it, which then left a mark when ironing with it. I contacted reception and reported the issues. They replaced the iron with a new one and cleaned out the dishwasher within a couple of hours of my phone call. (I had already cleaned the bedside table with toilet paper. I could only find one cleaning cloth which I wanted to keep for kitchen use.) The state of the apartment is reasonably good. Everything is fairly clean and in good condition. The coffee table could do with a dusting on its lower shelf. The main bedroom is super size with its own WIR. The second bedroom is a good size too. There is one large bathroom upstairs with the bedrooms. A second toilet is located on ground level next to the laundry. Washing machine and dryer worked well. Plenty of easing powder was provided. They also have a washing line with pegs. The kitchen appeared to be well equipped. We did not cook there so didnt make use of those facilities. The kitchen itself is quite spacious, with a decent size fridge and pantry. Parking and access was tricky. The driveway is narrow. As others have mentioned, the 1 car garage is also very narrow. I suggest getting everyone out of the car, bar the driver, before reversing into the garage. When we arrived, there was a trailer blocking our access into our garage. My husband helped the guy move it to the side. With so little room in that area, it took a few goes to get into the garage. There was one night we came home late and found a car parked out the front of its garage. It was quite a wide vehicle, so I suspect they were not able or not comfortable with putting the vehicle into their garage. Because the internal driveway and turning area is so small, we were unable to manoeuvre our vehicle into our garage and just had to park in front of our garage for the night, which also meant we were now blocking the other car in. The area is safe though (not like Jesmond, which is where I was originally looking at accommodation). So the next morning meant a bit of car shifting. The area is quiet, but not far to the main roads through Newcastle. There is a race course close by. There is a hotel, bottle shop and a few other shops within walking distance. Something else we discovered, which was a nice bonus at Christmas time, is a few streets up is the most amazingly decorated house. The Christmas lights display is really worth a look and I have been told by locals, is the best display in Newcastle. Overall, very happy with the quick response from reception to resolve issues, happy with the standard of the apartment, and happy with the location and safety of the area.

    Excellent

    Clean, modern, accessible, comfortable etc. Its excellent for a short stay. Id recommend it to anyone. Its quite close to the shops. Easily within walking distance to Broadmeadow train station. The amenities are excellent

    Clean, modern and comfortable

    Its always a relief to open the door of accommodation youve booked online and find that it meets your expectations. We booked a two bedroom ensuite apartment and it was very nice - clean, modern and comfortable. It's in a very quiet residential street with not much close by in the way of restaurants or shops - which is fine if you have a car and are just looking for a place to stay that's comfortable and good value (parking was included in the price - another bonus. Some hotels wanted $30+ a night).
