NO SERVICE!! RUDE MANAGEMENT! DISGUSTING FILTH!!The room was filthy, stuffy and no manager to attend to our concerns/complaints. An hour later we got moved to another family room which was also rundown, especially the bathroom and stained floor carpet. Our TV only had SABC 3 with no remote control. We had problems with hot water the following day and it got "fixed" in the late afternoon which was day 2 of our stay and breakfast was served way later because buffet was no longer an option as people "ate too much" the previous day? So what`s the reason/point for charging a buffet option then? We waited almost 30 minutes and got served the worst oily eggs and bacon. Hotel staff is very rude! The Everglades was a total disaster for my family! What`s advertised on their website is a complete opposite! DO NOT STAY THERE!

Wholesome home cooked meals, great! The chef was so gracious, offered us a lovely meal. The Hotel is going through a revamp and the staff went out of their way to welcome us . The therapists gave us real value for money with the massages. Great work ladies, keep it up

What a disappointmentWe recently celebrated our anniversary and decided on an impromptu road trip to the Midlands. The weather was wet n windy, a winter wonderland. I was looking forward to cozying up next to the fireplace and enjoying our time together. Instead we were put up in a room with dirty carpets, chipped basin n bathtub, wall paint was patchy and don't even get me started on the size of the gap beneath the door. It was a disaster. I hated that room 29 and the room they eventually moved us into had cracks on the door which we covered up with paper just to keep the cold air out. The room was cold, the decor uninspired, totally not worth it. It's off our list forever! Kudos to the cook though, the food was at least the only plus.

Shocking! The place is a construction site!Absolutely terrible stay! The whole place is a construction site and should not be taking in guests! They charged us R750 per person for bed and breakfast, so we thought for this amount it would be as wonderful as they said it would be! No! Our rooms were very run down, clean yes but shower doors were broken, no duvets on beds, just ugly blankets. No electricity and the dinner for R200 a head was a curry and this is just not acceptable - our 3 year old twins had to eat cereal for dinner! Literally ate weetbix! We booked for 2 nights and could not and would not stay the 2nd night and asked for a refund which they agreed too but we have not received anything! So huge warning to not spend your hard earned money expecting a wonderful beautiful get away here as you will find a dusty ugly construction site. We were very disappointed as this was a special weekend for my moms birthday.

Basically doesnt exist! We traveled specially up to Everglades Hotel to park our car and do the beautiful hike up Inshlosane mountain. The whole place is a ghost town, dilapidated and the entrance gates are bolted and locked so no access is possible. I wouldnt recommend that anyone waste their time and petrol going up there.
