  Mask less people everywhere.

  We picked this hotel because of the reviews stating that they require masks and everyone is required to wear them. My wife has lung issues to having to stay at a hotel isnt something we wanted to do but sometimes you just have to do it. This was one of those times. We arrived and sure enough there was big signs posted on every door that masks are required. We checked in and headed to the elevator when we noticed that of maybe 15 people in the lobby area werent wearing masks. There was one lone person wearing them. We unloaded our bags and headed out. When we returned we got into the elevator a man and his kid came in and they didnt have masks on. Again, we cant take chances with her lung issues we we had to just get back off of the elevator. Everyone in the hallways that you come across didnt have masks on either. It just wasnt what I expected and had I known I wouldnt have stayed here. It was truly disappointing to say the least. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable.

  road trip

  First class stay- in the historic market area - Hotel will provide a shuttle to restaurant for you since Hotel food restaurant and lounge are closed because of virus -We had a double king suite on fifth floor-- WOW huge room great beds and floor to ceiling walk-in shower made for couples . it was hotels anniversary 4 years -- safe well lighted parking -- highly recommend you stay here anytime you are in town

  "Even Better"

  I had no previous experience with Even Hotels. It is a very interesting brand of hotels, geared toward those who enjoy physical exercising. Each room is equipped with exercise equipment and there are many instructional videos on the TV menu to guide guests in a variety of exercise programs. They do have a bar, restaurant with a limited but interesting menu, helpful and friendly staff, and a very interesting décor in the public areas and rooms. I was upgraded to a huge suite, which included a very large living/dining area, bedroom, and huge bathroom. The bathroom included a double vanity, the largest and most equipped shower I've ever used, and an opaque glass surround for the toilet. I especially appreciated the room darkening shade in the bedroom. The hotel has an unusually large pool. Downside: the bar prices were relatively high and the coffee in the lobby was a $3.00 charge. Tea was $3.50. I definitely recommend travelers giving this hotel a try! The hotel provides free shuttle to the airport, Old Market, and other destinations within 3 miles of the hotel, from 6:00 AM to late evening..

  Kid-friendly staycation

  This was our first stay in an Even hotel. We really enjoyed the brand! We are a family of 4 that were looking for a covid-safe staycation. Our room was upgraded (Spire members) to a kid-friendly suite with bunk beds in a private corner of the room. Huge room with comfy bed and big TV. The pool was huge and warm. The gym looked really nice as well, but we didn't use it this trip. There is a cute upscale juice and smoothie place across the street for an easy grab and go breakfast. The only disappoinment we had was that several staff members were wearing masks incorrectly/inconsistently, one pulling the mask down while speaking to us. This made us really uncomfortable, since we were really looking for a covid-safe stay. Everyone was otherwise really nice and helpful, but I think some mask safety training might be needed.

  Relaxing & Refreshing Stay

  Our third stay at this location. Easy checkin, friendly staff, and very clean and pleasant room. All staff we encountered were wearing masks properly (because of the pandemic). This is a well-run hotel with clean, comfortable, and well-thought-out accommodations. The only minuses for us this stay (and they were pretty small ones) were no decaf coffee in the room, and the soft water made it difficult to rinse soap off in the shower (but that's probably the case at most hotels in the area). RECOMMENDED.
