  Very nice

  I found this hotel very cosy, and you felt very looked after. However, the real reason for going here isn't the hotel in itself. It's the place, Moneglia, that makes this one of my favourite holiday. Moneglia is very different from the rest of the coast as it lacks international tourists; this is a beautiful sea town where the Italians go for their holiday. For me, this makes it ideal as you get much better value (and food!!) for for your money compared to places like Vernazza, and you can relax in a different way. (You can easily access the whole of Cinque Terre on frequent trains (with fantastic views of the coast as the rail is placed only a few meter from the sea), as well as getting from and to Pisa airport within an hour). I didn't find this hotel expensive at all. In comparison with other hotels on the coast, Hotel Eva La Romantica is a bargain. We had a lovely room, with a private patio where we drank local wine and ate delicious cheese before going out for a meal at any of the local tavernas. (The Italians know how to do food!!) I would very much recommend this hotel.

  Great hotel in a lovely small town

  We are a young (26) couple who were on a backpacking trip in Europe. We were looking for a budget-friendly place close to Cinque Terre. This hotel had a very friendly host who offered us lots of great advice. It was a quick walk to the train station, where it did not cost any more than the train pass for the Cinque Terre cities. Most of the seaside trails were closed anyway, and only having one full day, we had to use the train anyway. We also discovered the Moneglia is a great town with a lot of character and friendly people. It also had a lovely sandy beach, which was a great surprise after the pebble beaches in Cinque Terre. Our room had a nice balcony, but did have a small water heater and thus tended to run out of hot water. The wi-fi worked in our room because we were on the second floor just above the front desk. The hallway noise is pretty loud in the rooms, but we were up early to hike anyway.

  Clean and Convienent

  Great hotel for exploring the Italian Riviera. Moneglia is a great base town with lots of charm and character without all the horrid crowds of the cinque terre. Overall a good hotel at a great price. Pros: The hotel is a ~5min walk from the beach and ~10min from the train station. The rooms were small, but clean and functional. Our room had a gorgeous balcony overlooking the town which we made use of nightly. The staff was very friendly and was happy to offer us advice when asked or get us beach towels. The free breakfast was simple, but good. We went to the restaurant hotel for dinner one night and it was tasty, but portions were rather small. Cons: Our room was on the top floor opposite the front desk and we did not get reliable wifi. Wifi was available in the hallways and lobby and it may have only been our room with the issues. The room did not have screens which made us choose between a stuffy room and rampant mosquitos.

  Mala desicion de cenar en este hotel, la comida deja mucho que desear. Me deje llevar por los buenos comentarios y resulto que todo era congelado y costoso! (De acuerdo a la calidad) personal antipatico, sobre todo en un mal entendido que tuvimos con el parking. El hotel en si no es malo, esta bien posicionado cerca de la playa. Las habitaciones super chiquitas, el baño incomodo y sobre todo el sonido de las descargas de los baños de los cuartos vecinos hacen tanto ruido que dan fastidio.

  I was not fine

  There are some criticisms to be moved to this structure. However there are some positive things such as hotel location that has easy access to the nearest beach. I think that the structure should improve some things. Probably enlarging the staff, you can improve the overall quality. There are only three people who basically do everything.
