  Europalace Hotel a good place to stay

  We have been in Umbria for Eastern and despite the horrible esterior look of the Europalace Hotel near Todi we have to admit that thanks to the kindness of the staff, the professional behaviour and the good organisation we have had a stay to be considered more than superior to other experiences gained in italy.

  Not a bad place to stay

  Hotel was nice and comfortable. However, the room and the whole hotel looked a little outdated and old. Breakfast was ok. Free Wifi only in the lobby. The front staff was very friendly too when I asked for another room key.

  Warm and friendly hotel.

  The hotel is next to the motorway which makes it easy to find and a great base to travel out from. The staff at the hotel were friendly and very helpful. We had a problem with out Avis car hire and no one English on the customer help line so Anna, the receptionist at the hotel acted as our interpreter. The rooms are large, very clean and most of all very comfy beds. Close to the hotel is cafe and a pizzeria. The staff in the pizzeria do not speak a word on English which made it great fun ordering food. The area around Todi is stunning and we will be going back. We will stay at this hotel.

  Not again

  Rooms were too hot, AC was controlled by the reception and at night when was needed the most they would turned off. No internet in the rooms No supplies if we wouldn't ask for towels they wouldn't change them. Breakfast was horrible Not comfortable at all

  Won't stay here again

  I would actually say this is a motel rather than a hotel. Of course it's because this is definitely a no frills hotel. AC wasn't working well so we had to open the windows for ventilation. The bathroom was poorly designed, such that water spills all over. No wonder the carpets were damp when we checked in. Not to mention the room smelled musky. The corridors were poorly lit at night. The worst part of the hotel was the sound insulation. We could hear the conversation of the patrons in the next room, and when they showered, and when they engaged in 'activities'. Without my trusting earphones, I wouldn't have been able to sleep. The internet (WIFI) was almost non existent. I gave up uploading my photos for the day when 30 mins into the uploading, I only managed to upload only 5 photos. Breakfast - what can I say, we couldn't compete with the Chinese Tour Groups and simply chose to forgo breakfast altogether. Stay here only if you must!
