Your luxury retreat in a popular resortLove this hotel, has the best breakfast of all the hotels of the Europa-Park resort, and also the best buffet dinner. The prices are slightly higher than the other hotels, and I believe for this special reason. Also the SPA is located on the same hotel, so very convenient for your relaxing massage! The pool has a temperature a bit too low for my taste, but other hotel resort pools have the temperature slightly higher and you can test those. This is probably the quietest of the hotels, and the breakfast is extremely orderly (unlike the other hotels int he resort which has the family chaos). You will certainly have a relaxed time on this hotel. The kids beds are a bit weird, they basically get into a wardrobe, fun, but not very practical. Miss a coffee machine in the room, and the TV does not support Netflix or HDMI plugin.

Interesting conceptInteresting concept and interiors. Let down by food and service at times. We've chosen its restaurant for the dinner because its buffet price was more expensive than others in the same hotel network, thought it might be an indication of quality. We were wrong - undercooked dry pasta, no decent hot meats or fish. Service is slow and not welcoming. The hotel pool was not adequately heated for the weather outside. Room lacked wet gear drying facilities. For one time stay it's good but would not return.

Original, but pricey and may improve serviceThe hotel in itself is nice and original, with its Spanish convent style. The kid enjoyed his 'private' bedroom (the closet with the kids' beds). The pool is great, but cleaning may be improved, at the end of the day the changing rooms and showers were filthy. I am not accustommed to theme-park hotels, so for a 4-star hotel it was a bit surprising to park on a giant supermarket-style parking lot, and push our luggage on 500m to reach the hotel itself... Very pricey, but considering you have complimentary access to the park for the final hour on your arrival night, and the next day early priviledged access to the park, and that you park for free, it can be interesting, especially for larger families (rooms are basically for 2 adults 2 kids). The very bad point, unfortunately, goes to the restaurant... Low-grade food, very poor service (if any...), all this for... a buffet finally. I would advise to take your car and have diner somewhere else in town, no need to stay at the hotel for that.

Nice hotel, but don't accept a room on the 1st floor if you need sleepThe hotel was pleasant and looks nice (although a strange theme). We had a great 2 nights sleep, until the Saturday evening when the hotel had a wedding on. We were on 1st floor and the music was so loud, we could hear every song clearly in our room. When I complained at reception at 11.15pm, I was told that it should stop at 12pm, which was only 45 minutes longer for us to wait!! The music went on and we didn't get to sleep until 1am (including our 2 young children)! Sadly, this messed up getting up early to make the most of the early hour in the theme park! The hotel did give us a discount for that night on request, but I would have preferred the sleep. There was also an event on the Sunday night, which we could hear in our room. (We managed to sleep through this as it wasn't loud music). I would only recommend staying in this hotel if you could request a room higher up from the 1st floor and away from events. The room was really nice. Great for 4 people (kids basically get a bunk bed enclosed with wardrobe doors) which they thought was amazing. If you didn't have cleaning the next day, then you could save some money, which was pretty cool. Europa park is lots of fun...
