  Very nice room with excellent location

  Arrived early and could both park the car (open parking space) and check in. Got a wonderful room on the third floor where you could see the ocean from the balcony. Free and fast wifi but you will have to ask for a code at the reception. Quiet location but close to the ocean and the center of Kühlungsborn Ost. Nice walk to the West side. Nice bar and coffee place and the restuarant looked very good (although we didn't try it). Excellent breakfast with everything you could want.

  Excellent stay at the east sea

  We made a trip of 6 days to the east sea and we had a great stay at the europa hotel in kühlungsborn. We had a Strandkorb-Suite in the first floor. The room is very nice and included all, special a coffee-maker from nespresso. A very quiet and proper hotel, very nice staff.

  Great Stay!!

  My wife & I recently enjoyed two nights at this hotel in lovely Kuhlungsborn. The hotel is located very close to the promenade & beach, across a small road and through a small wooded area. The main shops, restaurants etc. are a 3 minute walk from the hotel. Upon arrival one needs to report to reception before being able to enter the car park which is adjacent to the hotel. Travelling towards the hotel from the roundabout, there is a road immediately before the main building. Turn left and pull in to the small drive in front of the entrance. We found all the staff that we encountered very friendly & welcoming. English is spoken at reception by at least a couple of staff. Our double room (junior suite) with double aspect, looked out towards the sea and was very pleasant, particularly with the balcony. The room was large with a very nice ensuite including tub & shower. We found the bed very comfortable. Breakfast was excellent with more than enough to choose from, and if it pleases you, Prosecco!. We ate both nights in the hotel restaurants, The Brasserie and Ribs & Bones. Both were good, with the slight edge we feel going in favour of the latter. I would add that on both occasions the restaurants were very busy and clearly also popular with visitors not staying at the hotel.The small cafe becomes a cocktail bar in the evening and again was a very pleasant, albeit small space in which to enjoy a pre or post-dinner drink. Service again was good. This really was a pleasant place to while away a couple of days, if only to wander up and down the promenade. The hotel is not far from one of the remaining watchtowers from the Eastern Block period and again is worth a look. Some English translation is available and one can actually climb up the inside of the tower. We would also recommend 'Molly', a narrow gauge steam railway engine that operates between Kuhlungsborn and Bad Doberan, which is in itself well worth a visit. The trip costs 28 euros per couple but is an absolute pleasure, particularly the wooden interior carriages. This is a great hotel in a great place !!

  Excellent

  great place, great location, great Service. Shuttle service for parking if no parking available on their own ground. If I go again to Kühlungsborn, this is definitely a place I would choose again. Thumps up!

  Super Hotel near to Beach

  Just returned from a three night stay here (22.08-25.08.19) and were extremely happy with the hotel. It looked as if it had been recently renovated and was very clean and well maintained (thank you Housekeeping!). Our room was large and well fitted with a small pantry. The breakfast was superb and well worth taking your time over. We had top weather during our stay which was even better. The hotel is less than 100m from the beach. We will go back to kuhlungsborn as it is a lovely unspoilt seaside town (no bright lights & Amusement Arcades) but a lovely beach promenade to walk for Kilometers. We can definitely recommend this Hotel and when we return we will go back.
