If you want it really cheap..The price for one night in double room was very low - 10 euros/person. However, if you are going for leisure to Estonia it is not the best place to stay. The Tallin center is far, the hostel is located in some industrial area. The rooms are not tidy enough, water has metal smell, the shower room is far and without private cabins. We stayed only for a night and our sleep was interrupted by fire alarm signal (somebody decided to smoke inside). However, a good thing was a friendly and very helpful reception lady :)

Hostel with private roomsThis hostel is off the beaten path. It is not near anything and quite difficult to find. It is a Russian style building. The rooms are rather spartan with very old carpet. Bathrooms and showers are located down the hallway. There is also an enclosed smoking room on the hall, as well as a self-catering kitchen. The wi-fi only worked in the lobby. The hostel tends to cater to Russians traveling into Estonia. Don't expect to speak English. The staff was functional. It was an inexpensive room and you get what you pay for. It would be okay if you are travelling on the motorway and want a place to sleep for the night; but, not really a place for an extended visit.

More than cheap hostel, cheap quality.Off the beaten path and Russian style aren't a problem, definitely. And a hostel with private room is difficult to find. But communication was difficult since almost nobody spoke a decent English (I add to refresh my Russian out of the blue), the place was dirty and smelling terribly with smoke and piss, showers were in common like in a gymn, and breakfast and sauna which were guaranteed on internet simply "were not available". Last but not least, somebody vomited near the showers and nobody cleaned it the morning after, and baths were dirty most of time.

Tricky : monday - friday 2, friday - sunday 3.Bus 100 is the best, from mustakivi stop(Laasnamäe) Laagna tie where Mcdonalds is only 12 minutes busride. With Uhiskaart loaded just 1,28 for busride with bus 100. Hot shower . BUT seems like in the week russianspeeking lorrydrivers "take over" the place, from Friday it was a much calmer place. So weekends recommended, not workingdays. Bring your own drinking water do not wash your teeth in the tap water. In the same building (backside)there is a gas station and a little shop where you can buy water, coffee.. Also bring your own pot or kettle, there is a kitchen but . When you jump off the bus air smells terrible, but inside hostel there is no smell. Younger receptionist speaks english and very helpful, older no english. Wifi works from room. Parking free. Area Industrial, lorrypark. Bus stops(Kroodi) very close to hostel.

AvoidThis is our story: we are on a road trip for a month traveling around Europe. This was the worth place we have been to. I went into reception asking if they have any room available and i was told they are fully booked. Few minutes later I found that they do have availability on hotels.com. As we have been very tired after a long drive I went ahead and booked it. Than I went back to reception with my confirmation email about the booking. The lady on the reception started to shout at me that she has told me they don't have any rooms available! At that moment her colleague came out, who has somehow found a room on the system. No apologies offered. The state of the room was absolutely terrible. The bed was clean, but falling apart, otherwise there was no clean surface in the room. Coffee/drink stains on the wall, on the bin, on the table, and we found dried mustard stain on the curtain. Window roller blinds not working, there was water damage all over the furniture, but the carpet was the most discussting in the room covered with all sort of things. I felt uncomfortable to take my shoes off. Bathroom facilities in the end of the corridor, which wouldn't be a problem at all if they were clean. I checked all six toilets on our floor, there was no toilet paper in any of them, so went down to reception where i found the rude lady talking on her phone and after she spotted me she igonered me and went to back office. Than her colleague came again she gave me a roll of toilet paper. Out of those six toilets only two were kind of clean. The showers were usable, nice hot water, good pressure, but shower fittings very rusty, wall moldy. On our visit there was a couch full of kids staying the hostel. They have been behaving, but keeping us up until midnight as there is no sound proofing at all. So as a short summery AVOID if you can.
