  Reuní a mi equipo de trabajo para una jornada de trabajo. El sitio es fácil de encontrar y en líneas generales, cómodo. Colgado de la ladera de la montaña ofrece buenas vistas, como la mayoría de los hoteles de la zona. La comida es de calidad medio-baja, así como las terminaciones. Tiene un par de piscinas, y bastante zona ajardinada, está bien para ir con niños. Floja conexión a internet, muy ruidoso aire acondicionado y no detalle refinado en el trato. Equivaldría a un 3 estrellas en España.

  old enough to stay - needs upgrading

  the place is quite outdated already though offers some view of the taal volcano and lake. the rooms are old and the entire resort needs upgrading if possible. they have a huge parking area though if you are bringing a car.

  outdated and ordinary

  estancia used to be a wonderful staycation place more than 2 decades ago. this was where my friends and i previously hang out in tagaytay after a very stressful exam period. estancia was our escape. this hotel has seen better days. the stale air, the outdated greek design, the old linens and bathroom amenities, ordinary-tasting meals - they made the mood quite depressing. the only quirky thing left is the commendable service by the staff. shout out to the outstanding security guard assigned at the main entrance. he made sure guests who crossed the street reached the other side safely. thanks, kuya guard!!!

  Estancia Resort should be your Last Resort

  Let me just acknowledge the guards & the maintenance people. They did a good job. Estancia is centrally located & they have a good concept in the design of the hotel. BUT... 1) To get to most rooms you have to go up & down staircases so it is not for senior citizens. 2) Elevator is turned off & no food is served after 10pm. 3) The front desk clerk assigned visibly had an issue with us having an additional person despite our willingness to pay for an extra bed & reiterated this fact often when we requested services 4) The aircon remote was broken & it took multiple calls to figure it out. Still the aircon could not cover the space in the room which had a high ceiling 5) Water heater was inconsistent & goes hot & cold in 1 setting 6) WiFi was under maintenance & we were not offered the pocket wifi given to others After reporting all this the next morning to officers, they were all very nice, vehemently apologized & acknowledged our experience as learning opportunities.

  Good enough base for a weeks stay

  We stayed at the Estancia Resort Hotel for two nights after having moved out of another well-below-standard pseudo-hotel in the area. The room we were given had a great view of the Taal Lake and we were able to catch a bit of the sunrise too. The room and bathroom were clean, aircon was cool enough. There were enough sockets for multiple charging needs. Water from the shower was hot. Staff were prompt, polite, helpful and welcoming. A few things that need looking into are: - the absence of wifi in the rooms (wifi is only available in the lobby) - the bad smell coming from the bathroom drains - renewing the electric water kettle (it worked but did not turn off automatically and the cover kept popping open) - the fridge had no glass shelf - the cabinet doors are misaligned - the screen door cant be locked - some areas lack accessibility for the disabled (more ramps for wheelchair users needed since the property spans multiple levels; getting the lift working would help) Our suggestions: A microwave in the room would be a welcome bonus for guests who may need to reheat some leftovers. Replacing the bulbs with LED bulbs would brighten the room and save energy as well.
