  Muy justito. Necesita mejoras en habitaciones

  Estuve del 31 de agosto al 2 de septiembre de 2011, para un simposio. El hotel está muy justito. los cuartos de baño necesitan una renovación, con una cortina de ducha propia de "PSicosis". Decoración y muebles tipo años 70 (quizá de los mismos años 70). El desayuno bien.

  A mediocre hotel in Central Kavala

  I will be short in this review. The beds were uncomfortable (creaking noises) and the pillows were old. The bathroom was fantastic but reeked of smoke (poor ventilation system, nobody smoked in the room but you could definitely smell the scent of tobacco). After complaining about it, I got another room, this time smoke-free. The parking lot is relatively small but it's very hard to park your car in it. The staff was very helpful but I would avoid this hotel if I could find an alternative...

  Floated room, yummy breakfest

  We checked in at 4 am. Unfortunately, the floor of our room was covered with water. Since there was no other room available, the staff organized a room in another hotel. They managed to do that as fast as they could. The new hotel was old and shabby and neither the wifi nor the air conditioning worked. We definitely are thankful that they organized a room for us but as we paid for a certain standard we would have expected to get some money back or any kind of compensation.

  Good experience, based on location vs price.

  Yes: Clean, confortable bed, friendly staff, excellent breakfast. No: On our first night, it was horrible, as they came into out room & confirmed the heating is on - we felt asleep, and woke up frozen. Only after my second call to the reception, at 7am the heating started working (all night we had only cool air) - I suppose they had to turn it on from a different place. If you choose a room vith a view, expect for some noise, as the hotel is placed at the main street. The only drinking glasses in the room were in the bathroom, placed near the sink, turned upside down, without any protection on top or underneath (like a napkin or a plastic bag) - not hygienic at all! There is a big public parking in front of rhe hotel, which during the weekends turns into a market place, with fresc fruits, vegetables, etc.

  A good three star central Hotel in Kavala

  We arrived at the hotel without a reservation. The gentleman at reception was very well mannered but quite slow to check his computer system and tell us if he had availability. The Covid-19 procedures were followed thoroughly by the Hotel that's why he was probably so slow. Eventually, he said he could offer us a room not overlooking either the back or front of the hotel so we could be quiet. The room was not very big with a King's size bed and a good mattress and with all the amenities in place. The bathroom of a good size with shower very clean. A TV set was also there for us. There was always an open window and a very good aircon so we were very comfortable with heat and noise. Breakfast was served in their breakfast room by a friendly and professional lady who offered us morning coffee and whatever we selected she put in a plate and gave to us according to Covid-19 procedures. Parking in the basement of the hotel was free and of course upon availability. The rate for this good central hotel quite competitive. If you are in Kavala, Esperia Hotel is a very good choice.
