  A slice of heritage

  Located in the Heritage town of Pondicherry, FabHotel Esparan Heritage is an old property. One gets a feel of the french architecture and the furniture in the rooms are antique. Though it is located in a busy market, once you are inside you get insulated from the exterior noises It is near to major attractions like the Promenade, Museum, Basilica of the Sacred Heart of Jesus and the Rock Beach. There are no good food options nearby though the hotel restaurant on the top floor provide simple, neat and clean breakfast. The staff is cordial and informative as well. We visited in July 2018 and some renovation work was going on. Hope its finished by now!!

  Lovely space

  We stayed here for a night and loved it. The space is clean and nicely furnished. The staff is very helpful. It is conveniently located and walkable to most placed you would want to visit when in Pondicherry.

  Good place to stay

  The family suite we stayed in was clean and spacious, with a hallway leading to the room, and included a balcony. The staff was also very helpful. The property is located in Heritage town and is very close to Eswaran temple. It is within walkable distance to MG road.The hotel, however, does not have a restaurant but offers breakfast with a limited spread, which was not very appealing. Be sure to keep the balcony doors closed in the evenings, else you will have to deal with mosquitos.

  A Charming Heritage Hotel

  Esparan Heritage was our choice after running out of options in securing a room closer to the White town. This hotel is about 3 kms from the promenade. We had come by car, but couldn't use it much as the road is very narrow and once we had got our reserved parking in a lot owned by the hotel, we didn't want to move it until necessary. The road the hotel is situated is very congested and any big vehicle getting in needs to be navigated well. But in its range - 2000+rs tariff, Esparan has a charm, once we step inside. The walls are white and the wood work is a good contrast and is pleasing to the eye. The rooms are large and the bed is good too. We loved the fish pond and the small eat out on the terrace where the breakfast is served. Room 205 where we stayed had a water drainage problem and the health faucet didn't work properly. It was not very pleasant to step on water that is accumulated on the floor of the bathroom. Plus the rooms we stayed in opened only on to the balcony. The staff are very helpful and polite. It is a clean, safe place to stay with family.

  Great Place and Amazing Stay

  Awesome stay in the heart of the city. Very clean rooms. Friendly staff who are ready to help you out with requests. The building is built in Heritage style - Chettinad architecture. The Wood based themes is really good. Good Amenities - clean toilets, cupboards, Mirror, wooden decor, etc. Reasonable cost and just 5 minutes from the Pondy main beach and french town area. Serenity beach is 15 minutes to the North and Paradise beach is 15 minutes to the south. They serve only breakfast, however both Swiggy and Zomato deliver food from the amazing number of restaurants in the city. If you are looking for ethnic style stay at budget price - go for this one. You wont regret and if you have any special requests call the place beforehand, they are quite good.
