  A very poor resort

  Expect a trip back into the 1960s - holes in very thin towels, holes in bed linen, very old lumoy pillows that were very dirty inside. One bare light bulb over table and a dim standard lamp in the corner - not anything like enough light in a bare room with just two dirty settees in the corner and an old table. Dirty sellotape holding up splash back on kitchen work top. Mould around the edge of the bath (shower only behind old curtain in bath). The lovely big balcony we were promised on arrival was covered with weeds growing everywhere between the slabs. The whole place needs a lot of money spending on it to completely refurbishish the apartment.. the only saving grace was an excellent independent restaurant on site. The lady at Reception was, however, very pleasant, and friendly. The resort is up a quite rough road but is fairly near to a very nice village in Hinterzarten.

  Great time in the Black Forest Germany

  The resort Erlenbruck is 20 minute walk from Hinterzartern and has great views of the surrounding countryside.It is quiet compared to other resorts. You have to make your own entertaining which was great for us.Pool and sauna are clean.

  Black Forest Retreat

  A great retreat in the Black Forest! Outstanding staff and very good restaurant within the facility. Close to attractions within the Black Forest and the Alsace wine region in France. Great hiking trails for all different abilities!

  Excellent!

  We came through RCI and we had a 2 bedroom flat. The flat was spacious and in a very good condition. The kitchen was fully equipped. It snowed 3 out of the 7 days we were there but the roads were perfectly cleaned. Evelin, at the reception is very helpful and joyful person! Hinterzarten is a nice village and a good location to discover the surrounding area (Black Forest) and even Alsace!

  Very nice resort

  Overall a very nice resort with spaceous, clean and sufficiently equipped units. Also the indoor pool with sauna is noteworthy as well as the on-premises greek restaurant and indoor parking-garage. We will definetely return to this resort in the near future. Highly recommendable.
