  Semana inolvidable

  Estuvimos alojados en el Engel un grupo de familias con niños el pasado verano. Habitaciones (Casi apartamentos) muy amplias, con habitación con dos literas independiente para los niños. Baño grande, con toda clase de productos del Spa. Carta de almohadas. A la llegada te entregan un periódico interno el programa de actividades de la semana: Excursiones, programa del spa, actividades en el gimnasio... El servicio muy atento, eso si, casi todo en alemán (a pesar de estar en Italia). Las excursiones muy preparadas, el guía muy amable. Vale la pena hacerlas todas. Se come en refugios. La cocina del hotel es excelente. La presentación y servicio impecables. Te asignan mesa fija el mismo camarero para toda la estancia. Desayuno y comida de Buffet. Para las cenas, aparte del buffet con entradas, existe menú a la carta. Las bebidas no están incluidas. El Spa también muy grande. Existen paquetes semanales que incluyen algún tratamiento y/o masajes, etc. El hotel tiene 72 habitaciones, pero en ningun momento tienes la sensación de aglomeración, ni ruidos. Uno de esos hoteles para repetir.

  The magic holiday on my daughter's first birthday

  We decided to celebrate a very important day for our family in this hotel - the first birthday of our daughter. And it was the right decision. The hotel staff organized a wonderful holiday for us, providing a restaurant and service, our daughter received many gifts from the hotel, including a gorgeous cake! Separately, I want to cancel the cuisine of the highest class, as well as the excellent service of the restaurant! The hotel restaurant has a Michelin star, and is absolutely deserved! The staff is always available and helps to solve any even the smallest problem instantly. A magnificent complex of saunas and pools will enjoy even the most demanding guests! A view from the window will captivate with its beauty everyone ... Thank you! We really loved this place and we will definitely return there!

  You've found your place, stop searching!

  The only doubt we have to tell you about this place is it will be fully booked next year before we will return. This place is all you can dream off; being spoiled in a wonderfull setting by people who enjoy making you feel home and offer excellent quality and service. We swam in the inside and outside pool in heavenly warm water with little snowflakes coming out of the sky, something we and the children will never forget. We went skiing on breathtaking slopes a little walk away. We slept in rooms with all luxury we could dream of in our quality-beds. We met people in the hotel who visited this place for ages with three generations and we fully understood them. In the morning we were welcomed at the reception in Italian, German, English and French (they speak every language fluently here) and even in Dutch by the young waiter Gabriel who really has it all! Maitre Biachio makes your day by wishing you 'good morning and good evening" with a smile while he is in charge of a very well-organized hotel-restaurant with the cook Gabrielle who creates a magical breakfast at your desire; we and our three kids loved it. In the evening there were salads you want to reproduce at home and it is hard to choose from the menu a la carte because it's all so delicious and we were blown away by the beautiful look, choice and taste of all the deserts. The bartender is a real cocktailmaster and the friendly Madam Rosi, who never forgets something, kept on bringing us new and beautiful creations with a smile and we were touched by her kindness and that of Christian and all the others working here. Thank you Carmen, thank you family Kohler for creating such a marvelous place and choose such wonderful people working here!

  Family stay at the Engel Gourmet & Spa late February

  A great hotel, lovely location, very simple and frequent access to the skis areas, high quality amenities, food and service just great. Everything from the views, the lovely rooms, comfortable beds and linen, the marvellous spa and pools, the welcoming team, the friendly children attendees, the number of attentions and care, was just great. A special mention to the quality and variety of menus that enable to cater for everyone, from hungry teenagers to delicate palates.The whole family, from the smallest one (aged 5) to the teenager, was delighted. Thank you so very much for this wonderful stay, we will highly recommend as very experienced travellers touring ski areas in Europe and specially Austria. Our fist stay in the Dolomites, we shall come again and be pleased to discover the area in Summer. Bravo to the team

  Outstanding experience

  This hotel fits our description of luxury. Superb food and warm welcome in a beautiful relaxed setting. We stayed four nights with our adult daughter in two rooms with half board. Firstly the food is outstanding. The hotels chef has a Michelin star. The Michelin star restaurant was not open while we were there but the food included in our half board menu was so outstanding we probably wouldnt have gone to it anyway. The food is gourmet, with a modern innovative, health conscious focus. Fresh and organic and healthy but at then same time, hearty mountain food. Absolutely a divine dining experience. Exquisite tastes. The emphasis is on you are what you eat. Outstanding breakfast with everything we could wish for. We loved making our own juices, the friendly chef whipping up all manner of dishes on request, the interesting seeds, nuts, pollens, breads and cereals. Light lunch of soup and salad bar and delicious afternoon tea an added bonus. The atmosphere of the hotel is a warm and welcoming mountain style. Staff are outstanding. Warm, helpful, unpretentious but very professional. Loved the roaring fire and comfortable bar area. Live music on one night was outstanding. In addition there is a SPECTACULAR spa/wellness centre. Features too numerous to mention but overall overwhelmingly restful and comfortable. Sparkling clean, modern with warm wooden features. Our favourite was the Panorama room with individual waterbeds, sun streaming in, silence other than beautiful relaxing music and a spectacular outlook. A zen experience. We used the saunas, heated pools and jacuzzi. No time for the many treatments available because we skied half the day and then just wanted to relax in Wellness area and soak up as much of this beautiful hotel as possible. We enjoyed a yoga class in the morning and wished they were in the evening so we didnt miss when we skied. This hotel is outstanding and we have found a new favourite in the Dolomites which we will return to next year and hope it lives up to our first wonderful experience. We feel we only touched on the many things this hotel has to offer. We loved reading the daily Engel news bulletin at breakfast. Thank you to the hotel for spontaneously and thoughtfully organising a delicious birthday cake for our daughter without our request. This is a very special hotel.
