  Good value accommodation in Albany

  Stayed four nights in a one bedroom chalet with the winter special stay four nights and pay for three. Convenient location with short drive to town centre, harbour, National Anzac centre and local national parks. Can easily spend four days in Albany. Chalet had full kitchen, good size lounge/dining, washing machine and outdoor seating.

  Very run down.

  Stayed one night here in party of 5. started badly when they put us in an apartment with no hot water. Half hour later had to relocate. All a bit grotty. Shower is just a cubicle with shower curtain right inside front door. Light did not work in bedroom. Kitchen very minimal supplies (although did have a box of long life milk in fridge). Can see how it might work as a budget family summer holiday with young kids, but if you are just staying a night or two looking for a motel, leave Albany and drive to Denmark...

  We Would Definitely Go Back

  We had been to Albany many times, but never ventured to Emu Point. We stayed at Emu Beach Chalets because we won't kennel our 9 yr. old Beagle. It was very clean and spacious with a separate bedroom and hotel quality linen. (Unlike some private rentals that are Pet Friendly.) Beautiful well kept gardens in the front and large area to the rear for your dog to run. The area of Emu Point itself is lovely with nice properties and well kept gardens. Lots of walk/cycle paths for you and your furry friend to exercise, not to forget small sheltered beaches for safe swimming. All within easy walking of Emu Beach Chalets. We spent Xmas 2019 here for 4 nights and would definitely go back. We're from Mandurah which is a 5 1/2 hr. drive. I only wish there were more Pet Friendly Hotels/Motels because we do not want to tow a caravan. It's so difficult to find decent clean accommodation when travelling in WA.

  I'd stay here again

  We don't have pets but chose this place on its price, nearness to the beach, and what people said about its cleanliness. I can vouch for that. If there had ever been pets in our flat, you'd never know it. Absolutely spotless, and I hope we left it as we found it. The reception staff were excellent. There's everything you need to cook basic meals (though a baking sheet would be good). Lovely outside seating area and although we didn't use the barbecues they are spotless and have a fridge and equipment to make life easy. Birds queue up for supper outside your living room. Beds are comfortable, bed linen and towels are lovely. Yes, the bathroom is basic but lots of hot water and big shower, plus a laundry tub and a drying rack. I'd love to come back and stay for a week in the summer. The most beautiful beach is only 5 minutes away.

  Genuinely welcome pets

  When we arrived there was a sleeping cushion, bowl, towel and blanket provided for our dog. The unit was spotlessly clean and odour free. You would never know a pet had been in there before us. The grounds are beautifully maintained and it is a short step to the beach, that is also dog friendly. If you enjoy travelling accompanied by your pooch, this place comes highly recommended. We would definitely stay again when visiting this part of the world.
