  A lovely stay in Catemaco

  We spent a relaxing and enjoyable four nights in Catemaco partially due to this cheap and cheerful hotel. The hotel itself is very dated but the rooms are clean, the location is great (right beside the zocalo), the wifi fast and reliable and the service is friendly. We paid by the day and when we got our third night we were told that the fourth would be free which made our stay even cheaper. The breakfasts offered downstairs were $45 peso for a plate of eggs with tortillas, frijoles and fried banana also with a coffee and fresh orange juice. A great start to our days. Overall we had outstanding service from the ladies running it and would definitely recommend for someone who wants a cheap hotel. Also I must add that Catemaco is a gorgeous place to visit in general!
