  Muy caro para lo que ofrece

  Reservamos a través de internet (que lástima no haber mirado antes las opiniones), quisimos visitar el condado de Prince Edward que nos lo habian recomendado, despues de la visita a las cataratas de Niagara. Es una cosa rara para explicar pensamos que era un hotel y nos extraño que nos llamasen al telefono movil de mi hija sobre las seis de la tarde para preguntarnos a que hora teniamos previsto llegar, les comentamos que sobre las ocho y media de la noche, luego al llegar entendimos un poco todo. La encargada del "Hotel" nos estaba esperando en una especie de recepción con una mesa que era en realidad un banco de carpintero, todo esto dentro de una especie de tienda de pueblo que habia de todo tipo de muebles y lamparas, para darnos la llave hacernos firmar un deposito de 200$ por si causabamos algún desperfecto, y nos acompañó a la habitación. La habitación estaba fuera en el edificio anexo entramos en un pasillo que habia varias habitaciones, nos dió la llave y se marchó con su vehiculo para su casa, diciendonos antes que eramos los únicos huespedes del "hotel "(por cierto muy amable la señora en todo momento). La habitación estaba limpia con TV, wi-fi, ducha, una especie de hall pequeño con una mesita baja. A la mañana siguiente fuimos a recepción para desayunar y nos dijeron que pasaramos dentro de la tienda, alli habia una especie de cocina muy pequeña con una nevera y que nos sirvieramos de lo que habia, habia bolleria, zumo, y café, una vez que lo tuvimos en una bandeja le preguntamos a la chica de "recepción" que donde podiamos sentarnos y esta nos dice que en la habitación, con que salimos al exterior con la bandeja y en la habitación no habia sitio para poner las bandejas ya que la mesita era muy pequeña (apenas para los mandos de la TV Me he extendido en las explicaciones, porque me es dificil explicar y dar opiniones como un hotel, y si así puedo ayudar a los futuros visitantes explicandoles lo que se van a encontrar. Si se piensa encontrar un hotel o algo parecido no se lo espere, está limpio es la parte positiva

  Great find in the county

  We stumbled upon Empire Inn and suites after our Sandbanks Park reservation was cancelled, While a little hard to find, our cracklin rosie suite was a great respite from the heat of the day. Well appointed. Comfy beds. This is not a hotel but it is a nice surprise in the county and close to amenities

  Dog friendly Couples weekend!

  We had such a lovely time in prince edward county this past weekend. We stayed at the empire inn suites which is a dog friendly hotel. The owner met us at the door with a friendly greeting and so much enthusiasm . We felt comfortable right away. The space was very well furnished and we had out own roof top patio. The kitchen has all the amenities of home. The rooms were spacious and clean. Our dog was living his best life in prince edward county!

  Disappointed for price paid

  My husband and I stayed in the pillow room. ( the room with four poster bed, black walls, kitchenette). We were disappointed in the room and amenities. For $200 per night, I expected a bit more. We travel a lot and for that price there should have been, at the very least, some of the following: - Smart Tv for Netflix and Prime - Working wifi which in light of no Smart tv and rainy weather meant we couldnt download anything. We kept getting kicked off or couldnt log on at all, especially in the evenings. Sabrina, the owner said shed never had complaints before which I find hard to believe as it was a problem for the 3 nights we stayed there. Her solution was to reboot the modem and shrug her shoulders. You need to get a technician in there to figure out if a booster would help or a separate router for the room. Theres obviously interference somewhere. - There is NO armoire or closet. There is room for one in the corner where the table and chairs are, next to the nightstand. Having to hang my clothes on the walls around the room was, again, for that price, tacky. Yes there are plenty of dressers but a lot of clothes cant be folded and if they were, then youd need an iron and ironing board and there were none in the room. - the side of the bed I slept on had a definite sag to it. Every time I tried to move to the center of the bed on my left side, I kept being rolled back to the edge. I would have had to move right over to my husbands side to sleep on my side and disturb him. So my sleep was disturbed. - this is a small thing but any hotels weve stayed in where we paid over $150 per night had a Keurig coffee machine. Its those little things that can make a difference. - whats with the extremely LOUD noise when you flush the toilet? Scared us the first time. We both get up during the night to go to the washroom and that noise was awful! We really appreciated the bottle of Prosecco and it was great having our own entrance. The kitchen was cute and had all we needed. I think the room was overpriced for what we got. Its in a good location but be aware that its a converted school house so the exterior is off putting.

  Perfect stay!

  Sabrina ( owner ) was absolutely attentive and accommodating from the moment we made our reservation to our departure. Prior to check in she messaged me twice to see if there was anything extra I needed in my suite and offered to secure reservations to local breweries/ wineries. Upon arrival Sabrina was there to greet and personally take me to my suite . The runaway suite was exactly what I was expecting. It was very spacious and very clean. It had everything me, my husband and three year old needed . During our stay Sabrina was always there, wether to touch base, offer recommendations or just tell us the history about her incredible building. We love the Empire Inn and LOVE Sabrina !! Cant wait to go back Kristy and fam
