  Recomendable

  Pase unos cuatro días aquí y fueron unos días maravillosos. El personal de hotel muy disponibles y con ganas de servir siempre. La sonrisa es la característica del personal. La comida es muy buena y variada. Lugar calmo y para disfrutar de unas vistas maravillosas del lado sur de la isla. Bellísimo .

  Huge hotel on Etna slope.

  Main positive of this huge hotel is definitely its location in the woods on eastern Etna slope. There is beautiful view from many rooms as well as from the roof terrace. I appreciate the reception staff, which was very nice and professional. On the other hand I didn't feel agreeable in the restaurant at all. The waitresses were unfriendly and probably angry at me, because I ordered the dinner too late (around 8pm) - I underlined, that I don't want the dinner, if it is too late, or if there is any other problem, so I don't accept this argument anyway. The food was nothing special, for Sicilian and south Italian standard, I would even say below average. Definitely not worth 18 EUR. Breakfast was good - above average - not just sweet, ham and cheese as well. The room was good, nicely furnished, but you can see some tracks of time. My TV was switching on by its own, so I had to unplug it. Regarding cleanliness, everything was OK. Wi-Fi worked fine.

  the worst hotel I have been

  the hotel is pls. the bath is so small that you are not able to make a shower. not clean hotel. a lot of dust and everything is so oldddddd. the elevator can take just e persons. no traffic to the city. no taxis. it was a disaster stay.

  Nice, modest, far from the neighborhood

  We were a group of travelers, for a week, The hotel is about 3 km from Zeffarana Etna, No taxis, no shuttle service to the village, Luckily we rented a car although our group had a bus, it enabled us to be mobil after tours, The hotel staff were not able to assist the people with transport , PITTY , Others without cars had transportation limitations, The hotel is clean, modest, in a good shape, did it purpose for us very well as base for Sicily tours, Rent a car and you will enjoy better,

  Nice view - basic hotel

  Emmaus is placed about 2 kilometres uphill from Zafferana. The view from the premises is beautiful, and the town of Zafferana lovely with friendly service. The trouble is the hotel, its´ rooms, the poor service, and the food. In my top floor room, there were clear signs off water damage, and what looked like mold on the bathroom ceiling. The level of service was low, and often unengaged. It was difficult to get coffee and drinks during the day. The food was plentiful but basic. There was not much to do at the hotel, and the adjoining park was closed. There is seemingly no taxi service in the town, and no similar service at the hotel. It is, however, possible to walk to town on the (busy) main road.
