    OK Hotel

We stayed here for one night on our way through. The hotel is basic and simple. Our room in the court yard was very basic and poorly equipped with a very small bathroom and an uncomfortable bed. There is no A/C and only a small window above the french doors so I imagine it would be very hot in the height of summer. The owner was helpful and gave us a map of the town on which she had marked recommended restaurants. Breakfast was good value, by french standards, at 6 euros per person, fruit juice cereals, croissants and french bread. There was secure parking near by for 10 euros a night. The hotel is very central and was OK for a one night stop over. I would not want to be staying longer.

    Welcoming

The host was extremely helpful and if she is the owner, then fine, otherwise they have an invaluable member of staff. Our room was fine an even though on the front street, traffic did not personally keep me awake. The room and bedding were clean as was the bathroom, but more bleach please! Breakfast was very good for the price and could be taken in or out in a pleasant courtyard. The hotel was very convenient and parking could be found outside although you would need to pay at certain times but nevertheless not expensive. Millau itself we found very pleasant and we ate a lovely meal from the recommendation of the hotel.

    Adequate hotel in interesting building

We stayed for one night as an en-route stop-over. The room was large and clean and the bathroom okay although rather tired. The lady owner was helpful and provided a continental breakfast which was absolutely fine, consisting of cereals, bread and croissants. Of interest is that the house was once lived in by the opera singer Emma Calvé (1858-1942) and there is a folder with a potted biography and other information about Millau in the room. The room was well heated, so well in fact that I turned the radiator off. The wifi speed was so good that I was able to listen to a recording of Emma Calvé on YouTube while sitting in her house. The room looked out over the street but I was not unduly disturbed by the traffic noise on a Saturday night. Reasonably priced and with only two stars, you could easily stay here comfortably for several nights as long as you are not looking for any frills.

    very practical

The hotel is in the perfect situation for a stay in millau. Parking was easily available outside. The lady owner is courteous and helpful and speaks English well. We stayed in a courtyard room whichwas very practical...very French and overall very good value. Millau is beautiful

Quaint hotel in a useful location

We stayed in Millau for the half marathon over the bridge. The hotel was in an ideal location - mid way between the start and finish, and only a short walk from the bars and restaurants. The proprietor is quiet but helpful (good restaurant recommendations!) which suited us. We booked the car parking in advance which was a great help over the race weekend as the town was full. The room was comfortable, and the bed was long enough for someone 1.85m tall and I've had the 3 best nights sleep I've had in a hotel. Yes, the hotel is old, but that's part of its charm and our room was clean and perfectly adequate. The breakfast was simple and all we wanted.
