  Better than ever!

  What a joy to stay at one of our favorite Upstate NY properties that has been given a new lease on life. Everything inside and out is new and has been upgraded. The attention to cleanliness made us feel safe during our first time back to a hotel since March. As good as the room and facilities were, the staff makes a hotel. Thanks Jeane for going the extra mile to spoil us rotten. We'll be back.

  Very comfortable. Almost perfect.

  We traveled by car from midwest to the east coast to visit family. During COVID, we wanted to be sure to do this as carefully as possible - researching towns and hotels. The Embassy Suites was beautiful, quiet, spacious and overall very clean, save a stray crumb or spot in the sink. We passed through both on our way out and on our way back (so obviously we liked it enough to return). We liked that on our second time through we were asked if we wanted to book a private pool time for our family. This is a nice feature. Expecting that we wouldn't enjoy the typical hotel amenities in these times, we were pleasantly surprised to learn that you can book a time for just your party and the pool area is supposedly sanitized between parties. We had the first of the morning - there were some clumps of hair on the side of the pool that I didn't love, but it felt overall very clean and really this hotel is doing its best to provide an awesome experience under challenging conditions. Why not 5 stars? There was some inconsistency with mask wearing that I have to call out. One reception desk member was not wearing one at all, one was wearing it beneath her nose, one let it slide down all the way past her mouth and then was touching her face a bunch before getting us our pool towels. Other times staff was fully masked. Most guests were masked, but some were not and whether or not they were called out on it by the desk staff was inconsistent. MOSTLY it felt safe and enforced, but it takes a leap of faith to travel right now and when you take the time to read up on a hotel's COVID policy and book based on strict mask-in-public-places protocol, it's disheartening to find inconsistencies there. Overall, I would stay again and felt safe and comfortable.

  Lovey stay!

  We stayed last week with our 1 year old son! He LOVED staying here! Room was clean and quiet! Property was clean and staff was very friendly! Would recommend this hotel and would definitely stay here again! Thank you for a great stay-cation because of COVID. :)

  Will return after COVID

  I really like this hotel. I stayed there last year while it was being renovated and then again this week. They did a fabulous job renovating. The lobby common/bar area is very comfortable with a cubicle type seating area with individual TV's. They still had the manager reception with 2 drinks only but still enjoyable but bagged breakfast only. This is why I am not giving 5 stars. If you are reading this, be sure to get the bagged breakfast before you turn in your key. You will need a microwave for the egg sandwich. The gym is reservation only but I really enjoyed being able to work out by myself and it had great equipment. My suite was great, very comfortable. Staff was super friendly and accommodating.Convenient location at Carrier Circle. One night I got "to go" meal at Wegman's and Joey's the next. Grimaldi's is close and excellent as well. I look forward to staying again post COVID. Felt safe.

  What a remodel! WOW

  Weve stayed here several times before the remodel, during the remodel, and now, post remodel. We wanted to see how things went and its been beyond amazing! The lobby and common area is beautiful. The rooms are clean, bright and very modern. A lot of room to spread out. Feels like a mini apartment. We cannot wait to book our next stay! Well done Hilton!!
