  Necesitan una remodelacion con urgencia!

  Solo estuve una noche ahi, en la recepcion no son tan amables y pareciera que andan de mal humor todo el tiempo, ni una sonrisa. Cuando me dieron mi llave, todo parecia mas o menos bien, ya en mi habitación, me di cuenta que no habia hervidor, con suerte un par de tazones, y una que otra bolsa de te y cafe. Como venia de un largo viaje en avion, me dormi temprano, y lo mejor fue el colchon, en realidad no se si fue mi cansancio y falta de sueño o que,pero creo que fue lo mejor de mi habitacion. Embassy Suites me desilusiono, no si estaria en uno de esos otra vez.

  Un abucheo para el Embassy

  12:00 del mediodía. Lo siento señor tenemos overbooking. ¿Y a eso lo llaman Embassy Suites? Nos dieron una suite de dos habitaciones en el Brighton pero la llave de la habitación no funcionaba. Al final, nos dieron un apartamento en el Brighton pero si realmente les hubiera importado habría preferido el Margate.

  Embassy Suites did not deliver during the pandemic....

  Embassy Suites did not deliver during the pandemic. We have been loyal lovers of Embassy Suites since 1990. Sadly, this property did not meet our expectations. First of all, we arrived late and a very rude woman checked us in and explained there were "plantation" fees we had to pay. Also, the room rate itself was different from what we booked. We booked directly on the Hilton website and this took almost an hour to correct. (BTW when we checked out, we had to go through the entire thing again, but at least this woman was a bit nicer.) There were no guidelines regarding elevators, and they were often packed. We stayed on an upper floor and steps were not an option. They left no extra amenities in our room and there were four of us. We ran out of toilet paper, called for it, and it never came. It was an emergency so one of us went to desk to get some and they said they couldn't get it for us. Ridiculous! It took another 30 minutes after that. We didn't even have tissues! Towels and pillows took 2 days to arrive. It was a mix of staff--half were nice, the other half very rude. The breakfast and manager's reception were handled well under the circumstances, however the food was not up to their usual standards. It was overall disappointing stay. Masks were worn by guests about half the time. Not many sanitizing stations, or they were empty. We did not witness sanitizing taking place--just normal wiping down of tables after guest use. We witnessed no extra sanitizing of high traffic areas. We are usually enthusiastic, upbeat travelers and love everywhere, but the staff at this Embassy Suites really missed the mark.

  Christmas vacation

  I just wanna say first I wanna really thank Jasmine at the front desk at the Embassy Myrtle Beach. She really was very helpful and I really appreciated her. My husband and I had a few problems when we went to our room and she was like superwoman with a cape on. My husband and I really needed a getaway and I tell you she dont know the stress we really had before coming and Jasmine made our vacation easy. I think we need to clone jasmine and put her in a lot of hotels . Im coming back once they renovate a few things, but I give a . Thank you Lakim Griffin

  Fabulous staff, fabulous stay!

  Ocean view balconies, friendly staff, great drinks, yummy food. A little surprised by some of the earlier reviews as we found everything to be wonderful. The front desk staff was so prompt in answering texts for requests and always friendly. They are serving hot breakfast daily - scrambled eggs, bacon, potatoes and pancakes as a sample. You can take it to go or eat in the dining room socially distanced. This is great since many hotels are doing a cold grab and go. All staff wore masks. They gave you 2 drink tickets per day and the bartenders were engaging and efficient. Would like to recognize Ted and Martia for being so friendly and accommodating. We tried a new drink that one of the regulars suggested - a John Daley (iced tea flavored vodka and lemonade) very good. We had pizza 2 nights from their wood burning oven - also very tasty. Wanted to also recommend a couple of restaurants that some locals suggested - Brisket(N. Myrtle) for some of the best brisket ever, Simply Southern (all you can eat BBQ lunch for $10.99) and a short drive over the boarder to NC to Seafood Hut for authentic Calabash seafood. Thanks Embassy team for a memorable stay. We will be back.
