  Great hotel

  Excellent suite hotel. Near the airport. Went there just for a long weekend getaway. Room was very nice. Breakfast was substantial. Restaurant was convenient. Near Mall of America. Good choice for a weekend away. Highly recommend.

  Stay away if your going to park and fly

  We had our usual stay there before our week vacation. The mangers reception was a treat even with the new co-vid regulations. The problem came from our transfer back from the airport. We called as soon as we had our luggage, we were told they would be there in twenty minutes. Which was acceptable due to the fact it was snowing otherwise it is only a short drive ( 5-10 minutes) Then forty minutes later we called and the manager stated the drive had to fill up with gas and there was a long line. He would be there in 10 minutes. After 20 more minutes we called again and they said he was 5 minutes out??? Finally about 80 minutes later he did showed up. First there weren't enough seats I had to sit on my husbands lap or stand. Secondly the gas tank only a quarter full. So after a wonderful vacation to come home and have well known Hilton hotel lie to us was disheartening. Talking to another couple also waiting they said they had the same problem last year. Also were told the driver had to "get gas last year". I can understand problems do come up but not telling us the truth is not good business sense. So if getting back from airport is important to you go to other Embassy Suites.

  Falls short on the details

  We stayed for 2 nights, and were somewhat disappointed with the stay. First, I'd like to say that Kia at the front desk is wonderful and helpful. The room was for the most part clean and comfortable -- we appreciated the spacious rooms. The negatives: 1. We were there a Saturday and Sunday night. Saturday night the hotel was packed with families and kids, I'm guessing for a weekend getaway to the Mall and a hotel with a pool. Nothing the hotel can do about it, but it was kind of loud with a very full hotel and lots of kids. The parking lot was jammed, and it was hard to find a parking space. Sunday was much quieter. 2. The hotel did a terrible job handling getting supplies to the room, which was a huge problem given that the rooms are not being cleaned due to Covid. I had to ask 3 times to get the towels and washcloths I needed. Had to ask twice for an extra blanket. When I went to the front desk to ask for shampoo and conditioner, they had shampoo, but no conditioner. Clerk said he'd have it delivered to my room, but I knew from my previous experiences that wasn't going to happen, so I skipped it. 3. Room service was very inconsistent. First night we ordered dinner in our room, and it was served on regular plates, with metal silverware -- just as it would be if we had dined in the restaurant. I had asked for an extra plate and extra silverware, and we received everything we needed. Second night we ordered dinner in our room, and I again asked for extra plates and silverware. This time, our $25 salmon came to us in a clamshell box, with tiny plastic cutlery and one disposable plate. So I ate my expensive dinner out of a plastic box, while my husband ate on a disposable plate. We had also ordered a fancy dessert cake, which also came in a clamshell box, with no additional silverware, so we had to reuse our salmon forks to eat our chocolate cake. For the prices they charge, room service should always be served on real plates with real silverware. Those are the major things. There were a couple of other annoyances, but I'll skip that. All in all, I might stay there again, but I don't think it would be my first choice in an area with a lot of competitors to choose from.

  Needs better management and updating.

  Entrance garbage cans were overflowing and trash on the ground. Room had vacuuming issues. Cheap, thin sheets that dont look fresh, wrinkled looking. Pillows on bed smelled like a man and were stinky. Bathroom baseboards needed cleaning, soap mark drips on dark grey tile in shower. Breakfast was one line and was backed up~skip that! Elevator had tape stuck on the glass. I did not see people cleaning anywhere- Covid? Our first and last Embassy adventure as a Hilton Honors member.

  Sorry, but this will be last stay at this Embassy.

  Normally I always brag about Hiltons attention to detail. It falls short at this location. This place is okay but I was expecting better. I do like the digital key and fast booking but more time needs to be spent cleaning and freshening up the place. We were going to get breakfast here but breakfast line was just one long slow line. It was going to be a long wait. We were then just going to get coffee. They had the coffee midway amongst the breakfast line so that was not possible to get quick either. Couldnt they have just coffee available in lobby again? Sure we hand it in the room, but you know that in room coffee is not real good.
