Staff were very friendly and professional. Met all my needs and then some. The welcome social was great. Ms. Barbara the bartender was fantastic. She made me feel like Norm on the tv show cheers. The drinks were perfect and the hospitality was out off this world. Front desk employees were more than helpful in making my stay pleasant.

not safe-not cleanThis is unfortunately the worst embassy suite we have ever seen. Though the lobby has been remodeled it continues to lack management, security, and cleanliness. Our Vehicle was broken into (complete apathy concerning this from management) carpets filthy, floors dirty and unswept, elevators dirty with spilled liquid on doors, laundry area floor filthy, rooms not adequately cleaned (sticky counters) unchanged sheets, difficult front desk personnel, nonexistent security with exterior doors that are open at all hours of the night to anyone, poorly maintained outside, tables on patio covered with green, cigarette holder overflowing..... I never once in my 3 week stay observed anyone vacuum the exterior floors, and rarely (never)saw a vacuum with the cleaning cart. (Safety and cleanliness is not their goal) So...If your goal is a one night weekend stay for a party you will probably enjoy the rap music and lacking security; but if your goal is a safe and clean hotel i advise look elsewhere. Having said that there are some very sweet employees that work there that attempt to make an unpleasant experience better.

So disappointingWe came to Little Rock to attend a funeral near Embassy Suites. We are Hilton Honors Diamond members - dont expect a lot but we are usually thanked for our loyalty. No water, no upgrade offer. Our check-in person said NOTHING at all to me - he obviously did not want to be there. We had no hot water, the tub dropped all night and the commode was stopped up. After we got in from the funeral last night the last thing we wanted to fool with was repairmen in our room. When I was leaving I mentioned the problem to the front desk (same young man who checked me in) and again no words came out of his mouth - certainly not a Hilton ambassador of goodwill! Breakfast was disappointing but I will chalk that up to COVID We spent 7 nights in Hilton properties in Tennessee week before last and thankfully had a really nice experience COVID and all! ES Birmingham/Hoover even did cooked to order breakfasts!

Another (Mini) Hilton Odyssey in the Covid Era! Night 1 of a 4 Night Semi Cross Country TripOnce again we hit the road, this time taking our daughter to Arkansas where she'll be in graduate school. And the trip was from Ohio to Arkansas, then down to Texas and back home so while it wasn't five thousand miles it was still a long ass trip. It being almost a year into the Covid era, we found that some things had changed and other things were just the same as our epic adventure in June of 2020 (see my other Hilton Odyssey reviews). It all depended on the hotel. None of these were the same as our June trip. So this is about Night 1, in which we stayed at the Embassy Suites in Little Rock Arkansas. I wish it had been better, though there were some good things about it. The room appeared properly sanitized, it seemed clean anyway, with the exception of the stain on the carpet right where you put your feet when sitting on the couch. I know they allow pets and every time I see a stain on a hotel carpet I can't help but think is it poop or pee? Just treat the stains, people. Please. The bed was ok, fairly comfortable in fact, but the pillows had no support whatsoever. The water pressure was awesome when you use the middle I-want-it-like-a-fire-hose section of the shower head, and I liked that this shower head was higher on the wall than they typically are. I'm just middle height but I think taller people must really appreciate this. What was not so good was that the hole they drilled in the bathroom counter for the sink faucet was about an inch and a half too far away from the sink so every time I washed my hands water flowed out on the bathroom counter. The staff was nice and friendly, and though you could hear the next room's tv when we were watching ours I didn't hear anything once we went to bed. The manager reception was good - carefully spaced tables, you were allowed two drinks per adult in the room and they had some bagged snacks that were available. The drinks weren't particularly strong and obviously not top shelf, but the bartender was great. Breakfast was powdered eggs, biscuits and gravy, sausage, bacon, potatoes and grits. Not served buffet style obviously - you went through a line and told the chef what you'd like. I miss the made to order omelets and the fresh fruit, but after last summer's experience with breakfast in a box or bag this was wonderful. If they could get rid of the carpet stains I'd rate it very good.

All it takes is one very rude employeeFirst let me be fair, I have been staying at Embassy suites in west Little Rock since it opened and have hosted numerous very large business events at this location. It was my hotel of choice and would get a great rating until my last visit. Recently due to a weather related disaster at my Little Rock home, I had to find a room for 2-3 nights per week. I of course chose Embassy Suites because of my very positive past experience. I have been checking in without reservations for the past three stays. This week however when I walked in to get a room the young lady at the desk was too busy talking to a fellow employee to acknowledge me. After waiting patiently for what seemed like a long time, she looked up and said something to me. I could not hear her and asked her to repeat. She was looking down at her computer and mumbling. She again said something I could not hear so I stepped to the side and said I did not hear what she said but I needed a room as I was handing her my gold card member number. She looked at me and told me to move away behind the plexiglass. I apologized and repeated I needed a room. She asked if I had a reservation and I said no. She then asked if i was a Hilton Honors member and I said yes that's my HH number on the card I just gave you along with my HH American express card which also has my HH number on it. She then said it will be $112.00 plus $50 for incidentals. I laughingly said I doubt you have $50 in incidentals I could order unless you have started room service again or opened the bar. She said "everybody has to pay the $ 50". I responded that I would not pay the $50 but understood it would be a $50 hold in case of incedentals. She responded " I told you everybody pays $50". Her attitude at this stage caused me to get angry and I responded, I have changed my mind. I'm going to another hotel. Her response was " WE DON'T CARE". Like I said all it takes is one rude employee to lose a customer forever.
