Worst Embassy SuitesI have been using this hotel chain for many years and it is one of my favorites because you get great accommodations for a good value. This particular location is just awful. First is the smell. The room smelled like cigarettes which is disgusting. The ceiling had huge cracks in it. The bathroom had mold, and the carpet smelled like its hasnt been washed in years. If you take a look at the water fixture in the lobby you can see that it is GREEN. The water is GREEN! That is just a nice warning that the hotel is dirty and the rooms are stinky. The noise in this hotel is crazy. People didnt stop slamming doors and yelling until 3:30am and the walls are paper thin. Also do not rely on the gold out couch as they are useless. I decided to sleep on the floor after hours of trying to sleep on that couch bed. I do want to say that the guy working overnight at the front desk was very nice and did what he could to make it tolerable for us. I want to say this, I have never missed breakfast at an Embassy suites until this morning. I love the breakfasts at these hotels but I didnt trust this place not to get my family sick right before a trip to the mountains. I used to stay at Red Roof Inns when I was younger and this was worse than any of those. Avoid this hotel. I am not a basher but this place is terrible.

NO THANK YOU!!I don't even know where to begin with this place. It was utterly disgusting.. First of all, why am I being charged $8 a night for a "self parking fee" when I in fact saw many people stopping to make 'hand offs' right outside my window all day and night long. I mean it is wide open to the public and there is no parking lot security.. That's where it all started.. Can we just talk about the exterior for a moment. There was trash all over the place. The loitering and noise at all hours.. Then you walk in to the hotel where you are met with an overwhelming smoke and marijuana smell.. Like I had to wonder if it was coming off of the staff as well. I requested a non smoking room and boy was I in for a shocking surprise... A room that smelled like it had been smoked in for 20+ years. The room was old, outdated, grimy and most definitely not like the standard Hilton's we normally stay in.. (We travel 2 times a month) Our air conditioning unit did not work, the smoke detectors were hanging off of the walls, there was mold growth on the shower walls, the beds are HORRIBLE.. It was so hot in our room, we had to crack open the window to get any air flow. I woke up with the most insane migraines during the 2 nights we stayed there. The place needs a good deep scrub down or a bulldozer.. Upon further inspection, there were someone's dirty combs left on the bathroom floor. The bartender has NO idea how to do her job, other than pour a beer and maybe a 1 ounce shot (Under pouring with watered down liquor is not a good look). I am still trying to get over becoming sick from my stay here. Also, what in the world is a destination marketing fee... The breakfast was subpar as well.. It did it's job though.. They also put a $100 hold on my card when I checked in.. Thank goodness I did not need to use that money anytime soon.. Who knows how long before that will drop off.. I am used to checking in and putting a card on file for incidentals, parking, etc. Long story short, will NEVER stay here again; nor will I ever suggest this place to anyone!

Do not waste your money! NASTY!Where do I begin? Once upon a time, this was a top hotel. I understand it's old, but old shouldn't mean NASTY! It was obvious the room had not been cleaned. Hair in the sink, the floor was vacuumed, just plain nasty! Manager reception was a JOKE! No alcohol! Said they "ran out" like really? The water fountain was green! Just knock it down!

Getting oldThe couch and chair in the suite had stains and was completely worn out. The cushions had no cushion left. The wallpaper was peeling, the wood furniture was worn to the bare wood, rug had ink stains and the mattresses should be replaced. The employees were very nice, they still have a pretty good breakfast, and happy hour. After being on the road for nine hours, it was OK.
