    Poor customer service and perverted employees

    Their customer service is beyond terrible we caught one of their employees peeking in to our room when it was only a 18 year old girl in the room at the moment they were very condescending and talked to us as if we were "slow" and did not understand what they were talking about when we asked why they were peeking in the room

    Getaway Weekend during Covid

    We have stayed at this property a number of times since we like the roominess of 'suites' when we get away. The room was nice, beds were not as we remembered from previous stays. They were a bit uncomfortable and left us with sore backs. Morning breakfast and afternoon happy hours were fine, however, with the 2 drink tickets, you are not able to get 2 right away. The initial drink needs to be consumed before requesting the additional drink (per Illinois law). We were a bit surprised, for the hotel being 30% occupancy, why would we have 'neighbors' right next door and not split up with a room in-between. It was unfortunate the pool and hot tub were closed. Overall, hotel was fine, I would suggest incorporating the parking fee $6 + change into the room fee per night instead of being separate and I would say not only to Embassy Suites but to all hotels.

    Parking fees in the Suburbs

    For years a great clean quiet place, near restaurants and shopping. They advertise Complimentary Managers Special (cocktails in the evening) Free Wifi and Complimentary breakfast, all of which are fantastic (during non-Covid times). Recently they are enforcing\charging over $6 for self parking, this is a huge lot with several open lots nearby. This is in the suburbs not downtown. There are several other lodging options nearby none of which charge for parking

    A decent property, Parking fee is a disgrace

    I stayed at this property for one night while working in Lombard in room 715 a 2Q corner suite. Corner suite had nice view Typical two room layout (2) 50 TVs Excellent lighting in BR with integrated night light CONS: Feels dated. No updates in a while Mold under soap dish in shower Furniture looks worn, table NOISY. Constant highway traffic noises enter room Disappointing COVID breakfast Parking fee for no apparent reason other than a money grab. Based on noise alone, i would not stay at this property in the future.

    Horrible Experience

    Police activity inside the hotel for at least two hours. At least 1 arrest. I did not feel safe. Not enough staff, VERY LOUD guests. Loud music blaring all night. Called the front desk. The staff did nothing to quiet people. Not enough staff to keep the hotel clean. Very nice bartender but he was the only one in the bar. The hotel was filthy. Bathrooms were disgusting. Toilets needed cleaning, and the garbage cans overflowing in the common bathrooms. Breakfast was served prison style. (I was told that it was, "Made to order breakfast." It most definitely was not!!) One person serving in styrofoam containers. You get what you get. No choices. No fruit, no muffins etc. Same person serving food was cleaning and taking out garbage. I had to clean my own table because he was slopping food into styrofoam. The next day, I called the General Manager, he was very uncaring and unhelpful. He said they had 100 extra guests at the last minute and it is a pandemic. I asked why he wasn't abiding by the CDC guidelines with cleanliness during a pandemic and why didn't he turn guests away if they didn't have enough staff during a pandemic.....He didn't have an answer. Do yourself a favor, find a different hotel.
