Totalmente recomendable!!

Terrible all aroundWe have always been fans of the Embassy Suites but this hotel does not meet customer expectations. Terribly understaffed, rooms are dirty smoky and dingy, pool has been oversaturated with clorine and food options, if you can wait 2hrs are underwhelming. Do not waste your time or money on this option. They can do so much better.

Information for Fellow TravelersThis was our first "getaway" since COVID began. I am a very cautious, very nervous person these days, and I wanted to share our experience with the COVID protocol at this hotel for any interested parties. First of all, Embassy Suites at Destiny USA is a beautiful property. It is considered the on-site hotel for Destiny USA, which is literally right across the road. They even have a designated walkway for Embassy guests directly to the mall. This property is not holding back on capacity and would book 100% of their rooms at a time, if able. They also do not require rooms to remain unoccupied for a period of 24 hours between guests, like some other properties do. Personally, I would have felt more comfortable if they did, but I understand that it is a business, after all. I was assured the rooms are completely cleaned upon a guest's check-out. You can download the Hilton Honors app on your smart device and utilize the digital key to unlock your door rather than plastic keycards. This is simple and efficient, even out of pandemic times. I definitely recommend doing so. You can also check-in and check-out on the app. Be advised, though, the room you select may not be the room assigned to you. If you are not pleased with the assignment, you can attempt to change your room at the front desk. You may also be able to check in early, if your room is available, which is always nice. Our room, itself, was top-notch, clean, modern, and impressive. As an extra precaution, I Lysoled and wiped down myself, as well, (and, of course checked the beds), but to the naked eye, the room did appear clean upon entry. Some crumbs on the couch and in a drawer, but no wayward strands of hair or dirty linens. No complaints there. The doors are marked with sticker signage that the room has not been entered since it was disinfected, but, honestly, it looked as if the sticker to our room could have been peeled off and reattached, if one wanted to do so. I can only speak for our suite, but it was nicely appointed with 2 large flat-screen televisions, 2 queen beds, a pull-out couch, table and chairs, desk and chair, and a nice, large bathroom with a shower/tub combo. We had the most gorgeous view of the city. I could not find outlets in the bathroom, which I found a bit odd. There is also a sink and counter in the living area, with a safe, microwave, and refrigerator. I did not try the microwave, but neither the safe nor the refrigerator were working. A bit of an inconvenience, because I specifically chose a hotel with those options, but we made do. Throughout the hotel, you will find hand sanitizer stations and Lysol wipes available for use. There are partitions along the bar in the lounge. The gentleman at the front desk was masked and answered all of the questions I had about their commitment to cleanliness during this pandemic. The indoor pool is open, unlike many other hotels at this time. You must reserve a time slot, in increments of an hour, because the capacity is limited. It IS rather small, and, somehow they allow 15 people in a time. Masks are not required in the water, but anyone on deck must wear one. Unfortunately, other guests didn't seem big on the idea of personal boundaries and didn't respect the six-foot rule as much as one would hope. We found ourselves having to constantly move around as another child and adult went wherever they liked, even if it was close to us. That was with only 3 people in the pool total. When another family of 4 came in, we decided it best to leave the premises, for our own safety and comfort. Management is supposed to be the ones letting the guests who have reserved timeslots into the pool area, but other guests do so, as well, so you can't really know who has a reservation and who doesn't. It's also stated that the area is cleaned and inspected at the top of every hour. It was not during our stay. Objects left behind by other guests were left under chairs and the only changeover I saw was someone collecting the dirty towels. Still, it is a nice perk, especially in Winter, to be able to have some swim time. There are 3 elevators, and this helps ensure that you will have the elevator to yourself if you wish. They do offer an evening reception, but we did not attend, so I can not speak to that. We did enjoy their breakfast very much. It's set up much like a cafeteria, with six-foot notations on the floor throughout the line. There are a variety of HOT selections to choose from, as well as a yogurt or fruit. Very impressive and delicious. The masked and gloved employees move swiftly, efficiently, and politely, and box everything up for you, including utensils and toppings, as you move along. It's a wonderful way to offer their fabulous breakfast. They also had juices and coffees available, but as they were self-serve, we opted to skip the beverages. Overall, there were a lot of positive marks and only 3 real negatives for this stay. I mentioned two previously (the pool and the appliances not working), but the third negative is the biggest, in my opinion. We saw three different members of housekeeping not wearing masks, one of which walked right by us. The other two were cleaning rooms. The biggest and most simple way to stop the spread of COVID not being adhered to by members of the staff, the ones who prepare our rooms, was a big disappointment and, honestly, was the thorn of the stay. Thank you for taking the time to read my lengthy and detailed review. I hope you found it helpful and full of information that you may have wanted or didn't even think to think of. At the end of the day, I did find this property to be quite lovely and, for the most part, very clean and comfortable. I would certainly stay here again.

Staff is overwhelmedReserved connecting rooms. We arrived at the hotel to check in, well after check-in time, and one of the rooms was not yet ready. It was between 6 and 7 p.m. before I was notified that the King bed room had been cleaned. Upon actually entering the rooms, the King bedroom smelled strongly of cigarette smoke. Also, neither room had been sufficiently cleaned. Food crumbs were found in couches and floor. Bedding on all three beds was so wrinkled, they appeared as if they had been wadded up and laying at the bottom of a laundry pile for days before being placed on our beds. Also, there were stains on the bedding and it did not all match. The showers were disgusting; neither the shower head not the floor appeared to have been cleaned. The wet bar sink drain was also completely clogged so once I opened the faucet, standing water remained. This was by far the most disgusting hotel stay I have ever experienced. It's possible some of the staff is overwhelmed with their responsibilities. Doubt I will consider a stay at this location again.
