  I found Embassy Place situated in a good central area . We had a 3 bedroom apartment very reasonably priced , our apartment was cleaned every . The staff were friendly and helpful, and it is generally a nice quiet place to stay . As other people stated the apartments are a bit old but we are in Cambodia and looking at other hotels and apartments in the area Embassy Place is on par with them . I really can fault the place , our apartment was big enough for three men to stay in without being cramped . Has a gym , laundry and a pool . Should I return this would be my pick of places to stay .

  Not a safe place

  I am having a horrible experience in this place. All my cash (USD1000) was stolen from me while staying in this hotel, which is supposed to be a safe place. You pay much more per day to stay here compared to other places in Phnom Penh thinking that you are in a safe place when in fact you are not. The hotel is taking no responsibility whatsoever about it, pretending to "investigate" what has happened. Blaming the victim (me) is always the easiest way out for them. The safe box they provide is too small and hard to handle, mine didn't work. Like their rooms, the safe box is old and dirty.

  Simple and Quiet

  Stayed here for 2 nights. Location is reasonable. Nothing a Tuk Tuk cant fix. Great for families with kids. It's more like an apartment so do not expect any amenities like a hotel would provide. Would not stay here again, however thank you so much for the hospitality.

  Easy Apartment Living

  The Embassy Place Apartments are well situated, being literally around the corner from the Independence Monument (a landmark every tuck tuck driver knew), and within a block of a wide array of quality eating, drinking and massage establishments. They are dated but clean and well appointed, right down to a water cooler in the unit to fill those water bottles. Ours was a two bedroom unit, on first floor. Dead quiet, secure (with guards on front gate 24 hours a day), and heaps of air conditioning. Reception was always there when we needed them, the benefits of being part of a complex. The pool is actually quite good - unlike many apartments, I think the reality was better than the pictures we saw. Overall, I would recommend.

  Quiet and spacious

  We stayed for 12 nights with a family of 4 adults in a two bed apartment. Bedrooms are well sized. There is plenty of space to move around in the kitchen/dining/lounge area. Kitchen is well equipped and has a modern washing machine and water cooler. The lounge has comfortable seating and TV The location is relatively central with good bars and restaurants in walking distance. the rest of the city in any direction is within a ten minute/$4 tuk tuk ride. Service was good with cleaning every day. The pool and gym are clean and well maintained. The building is a little dated, but very quiet set within the gardens despite the noise of the city outside.
