  Wonderful find

  We were really surprised by what Ucluelet has to offer. Embarc at Waters Edge Resort Ucluelet is a great staging post for discovering the area. Situated on the other side of the boat basin , Embarc Ucluelet is a 20 minute walk from the centre of the little town. It is a nice walk to work up an appetite or the same after a full meal!! Around you are beautiful vistas of the inland water ways that shield you from the Pacific. Each day we walked into town from a nice coffee and then along the great pacific trail. We kept fit with our legwork which also helped us dilute the guilt of good Ucluelet tucker each night. Not far away us Tofino where more touristy things can be found. We prefer the quiet setting of Ucluelet. Getting here from Vancouver was by plane from the South Terminal. Be careful about close connections as we missed ours( fire in Auckland airport terminal another story). People here are so polite and gracious. You will fall in love with Ucluelet as we have. Well be back!!

  wonderful stay

  top of the line amenities, spotlessly clean and very conveniently located. most comfortable mattress and bedding, i ever experienced,in a hotel before. all in all best value for money, my wife and me would stay there any time in a heart beat.

  Great Location

  A great location on the water. Very spacious, clean and well appointed. Quick drive into downtown Ucluelet. We will be back. If you want to bring some takeout back for dinner, act early as many places close early. We had to go to the local grocery store. Make sure to take in the ocean front trail. Well maintained with amazing views.

  Excellent Stay

  We were in a 2 bedroom unit #903 which faced the harbor. It was very nice with lots of space and closets. The main bedroom had a king bed with ensuite bathroom with walkin shower. The second bedroom had a queen bed with bathroom across the hall with tub/shower. There was a large dining table and the sitting area had a sofa and chairs with tv. The large kitchen had all the necessities for cooking with a good sized fridge and stove and microwave and dishwasher. There also was a large laundry room with washer and dryer. There also was a nice veranda with chairs and small table with a lovely view of the harbor. The location was very convenient to the main street of Ucluelet but also quiet. I would recommend Embarc Ucluelet.

  Great getaway

  Condo is super clean...not even a speck of dust on windowsill. Bed is comfortable and duvet/sheets are clean as well. Kudos to the housekeeping dept. We really enjoyed walking the trails, visited some beaches and had some good seafood dishes. Even picked up some delicious hot smoked coho salmon from Ukee Seafood to bring home! If u r a coffee lover, visit Foggy Bean...delicious, we also bought some beans home. September is great weather for outdoor activities and we'll be back next fall!
