WonderfulIncredible. Has everything I need in the fully equipped kitchen. Beautiful room. Comfy bed. Lovely staff. Fun outside shower on the deck and an inside one! The desert sunsets are so soul filling. Only thing I'd improve is that there's no Netflix / Showtime capabilities on the TV's... unless I'm missing something. Just needs a little 2020 TV tech makeover.

4.5 stars actually!4.5 stars! Lovely well kept property thats small and manageable. Very close to markets and restaurants. The room was spacious and featured a great little balcony off the living room with a bar height table and stools, and another patio with fireplace for dining. The room was very well appointed - everything you need to cook or BBQ, but a tad dated in design. The only things wed like to see changed are: blinds in bedroom instead of drapes - the light poured in at the crack of Dawn! We couldnt sleep in at all - which is nice on vacation. TV selections were really odd and old fashioned. Id like to see Smart TVs. No coffee filters (that was probably just a mistake). Otherwise a peaceful serene stay!

Unpretentious and PeacefulWe booked the Embarc through a discount travel website. There was no indication the "hotel" we were booking was a Condo. I had filtered my choices to tennis courts, and condo, and this option didn't come up. I wasn't happy with the two options I was given, as I knew one of the options no longer has a tennis court and the other option was overpriced. I removed the condo filter and a 4.7 rated hotel, with tennis courts popped up. I was given a hint the hotel might be the Embarc, and in researching the hotel on trip advisor, I found the reviews good but not glowing. Since the facility had everything I wanted I choose the option. I was very excited to find I would be staying at the Embarc as all the rooms as condos. In re-reading the reviews I am surprised with the number of 4 star reviews. These people must have very high standards. Personally I found the facility to be top notch, except for the uncomfortable sofa bed mattress, and I really don't like foam mattresses, which was on the king sized bed in the bedroom. But these two items are small in comparison with what this facility offers. I have stayed at all of the resorts in the Palm Springs area, and personally I don't care for the mega size facilities; one of which is located across the street from the Embarc. If you are looking for a happening place, it isn't the Embarc. The Embard melds into the desert. The mountains are in the background. The landscaping is impeccable. There is a creek near building 17, where we stayed, and we could hear running water while sitting on our own private veranda. The veranda has a table with 4 chairs and there is a gas fireplace. There is a towel rack for drying one's swimsuits and towels. I don't know why more hotels don't use these, instead of the unsightly towels thrown over balconies. There is an adult pool and spa adjacent to the building. There are 3 other pools on the grounds. We were there on a Friday to Monday and the pools were deserted. We had a small adult pool to ourselves for most of the day. We didn't have to deal with noisy children playing in the pool. There are two family pools in other areas of the complex. Our unit was a one bedroom corner unit. I didn't care for the bedroom as it was small, and there was very little natural lighting. The one small window was opaque due the walkway on the opposite side of the wall. There is an interesting shower attached to the bedroom, which is actually an outside shower, with access from the bedroom. There is a good sized closet and a couple of drawers under the TV, which is mounted on the wall. Spectrum is the provider for the cable TV. The bathroom is very large with a door from the living area and a door from the bedroom The light switches are crazy as some of the lights are controlled by the switch near the bedroom and others are controlled from the living room. The tile shower is huge. There is a rain head shower. I was impressed with the kitchen as it is fully equipped. There were paper towels, dishwashing soap, dish soap, towels, Cuisinart pans, blender, toaster, extra trash bags. There is a stove with an oven, a microwave, and a dishwasher. We played tennis and the courts are well maintained. There is a pickle ball court and a sport's court. There are rental bikes. There is a walking path to the golf course's country club. The gym was closed due to Covid. I see complaints about the parking, and one having to walk to their car. If you are looking to be waited on, your car valet parked, daily housekeeping, and restaurants on site then this isn't the place for you. This is a relaxing, non-pretentious facility that is perfect for those of us who want to cook in, hang out at the pool, and enjoy the beauty of the area.

Wonderful Peaceful Desert EscapeLove coming to this resort--peaceful, beautifully designed buildings and grounds, dreamy beds and the lovely outdoor-shower option are delightful. It never feels noisy or crowded, and there are numerous pool areas, some for adults and some more family-oriented.

Quick getawayWe had a great getaway and stay in a one bedroom terrace villa. Our well furnished unit had a terrace/ balcony with a gorgeous view of the mountains and golf course. It was so serene. What a perfect location!
