  No vayas en invierno porque pasas frio

  He ido en la gran nevada de diciembre y claramente aunque estaba encendida la calefaccion era escasa. Pase frio en la habitacion la noche que fui alli. La ubicacion es excelente pues esta en pleno centro y es una opcion muy buena para dormir cuando visites Cambridge (esta a 15 minutos en tren). Respecto la limpieza la habitacion estaba limpia pero el endredon de la cama tenia una mancha de color cafe que no se sabia si no lo habian lavado desde la ultima vez que usaron la habitacion o es que no se conseguia quitar la mancha. Para la relacion calidad-precio no esta mal

  Ideal location

  We returned to this place and despite a friendly welcome again the insistence of handing cash over before you are given the key is ridiculous especially as we were in an annex and had to go back to pay to get the key to lock the room If they accepted card payment before hand they would not need to worry. The keys are fragile The location is great but parking cna be an issue I agree with others that it is overpriced for what it offers- no breakfast and poor bedding (hard pillows with only 1 cover on and they were dirty underneath) ! The shower curtain was not clean and I found hair and dirt in the shower on its first use. The location sells it!

  I dont usually write reviews but on this occasion I feel I must warn others of the appauling state this guest house is in. Firstly I was made to pay up front and denied a Vat receipt. On going to the room after work I found it filthy and the bedding had such a strong odour I slept in the car! Refused to refund my money and was extremely rude. AVOID AVOID AVOID

  Booked in for 3 nights! Worst place Ive ever stayed in my life after working away for 15 years! Absolutely filthy beds have never been washed in years stinks staff rude when we moved out after half a night as we chose to sleep in our car complained in the morning would not give us our money back had to pay cash as well there Why?so we left with nothing. How this guest house can be selling rooms is totally beyond me. Please dont ever stay here save your money sleep in the car!!!

  Overnight stay

  paid £76 for a one night stay for bed with no breakfast in a pokey 1970s style room above a Thai restaurant. This bore no resemblence to any description or photos we had seen. A lot of the decor was half finished and the blinds and ceiling covered in dust and cobwebs. Further investigation found a room with breakfast in a nearby pub for £65.
