  Un hotel sencillo pero agradable

  Si no necesitas muchos lujos, es el hotel ideal para pasar unos días. Las habitaciones, el desayuno y el ambiente general son agradables. La gran pega es que algunas habitaciones no tienen baño, aunque puedes tener tu propio baño cruzando un pasillo. Tienen wifi gratis

  Friendly, convenient and good value

  Stayed for 2 nights whilst travelling through the area with the family. The hotel is run by a very friendly young couple (with excellent English) who could not have been more helpful. The hotel is extremely convenient for Lake Maggiore, the islands and local restaurants/bars. Rooms are basic but clean, but very good value given the hotel's location. Bathrooms are small and there is some noise from the nearby train line for rear-facing rooms, but neither issue would put us off booking again. This is an excellent, friendly, well-run hotel, in a convenient location, that offers great value for money.

  Value for Money

  If you are looking for somewhere to 'recharge your batteries' and relax in a beautiful setting then, look no further than Baveno, beside Lake Maggiore in Italy. I've stayed at this hotel a few times. It's a family run hotel, comfortable beds, clean and very close to the town centre, in fact, you can walk through the beautiful nearby courtyard of the church to reach the main thoroughfare. It's probably the best value for money you can find. Relax at this hotel and amble down to the nearby lake and watch the sun go down, over the surrounding mountains and feel the stress of life just lift right off. Go and ebjoy

  One of the best stays ever!

  Stayed for one night at this magical boutique hotel on the island of Isola Bella. The room with balcony was beautiful and overlooking the lake (each room was named after a famous poet/writer). What a view it was! The staff, in particular Sara and Margerite, were wonderful and I cannot express how helpful and friendly they were. Nothing was too much trouble. No doubt it was one of the best stays ever!!! Perfect!

  Fantastic base for exploring lake Maggiore

  I've had the pleasure of staying at hotel Elvezia several times and have never been disappointed. The hosts are so helpful and considerate. The staff is very helpful as well. The place is spotlessly clean and very warm and homey. It is just a stones throw from the ferry to all the lake has to offer which is a lot! It is extremely economical. I highly recommend it.
