  If you're not big on hygiene, privacy and good service then this is the place for you!

  I read the comments on Experia and bookingdotcom but for the price, didn't really care how beat down the private bathroom looked. I mean, I came prepared with Dettol all-in-one spray, and antibacterial wipes just in case. But what I didn't expect was the disgustingness. There were hairs on the sink, pubes and hairs in the shower, no handheld shower. The toilet door had suspicious things stuck to it and that toilet... Brown marks on the seat and urine splashed all over the bottom of the seat. At the time, I just got on whith cleaning it convincing myself that it was just bleach splashes. The smell proved otherwise. The carpet had a sort of white sticky trail all the way to the bed. Since I'd sprayed and wiped everywhere I had to touch, didn't want the cleaner coming in (no idea who it was at the time) but planned to let reception know that I don't need anything. Ready and sat in the room waiting for my bus and in comes the male cleaner. No knocking or anything. 'Oh sorry, people are usually out by now'. People also leave their keys downstairs... The door was locked from the inside so it took a few turns to open it and since I was dressed and ready I just let it slide. I needed the bin changed and told him everything else was fine, he came back with a towel and carried on with the other rooms. Got to reception and asked for the same. Nothing needs changing please. Even though I'm sure someone has been poking around but that's hotels for you. Next day comes and going up the stairs, I see the cleaner coming down. He murmured something, I didn't understand, the staircase is tight and uncomfortable for one, let alone for two. So I just nodded and said thanks. Got to my room and there was a folded towel on the floor. I guess that's what he was trying to say. The towel I'm gonna clean my bits with on-the-floor-of-a-dirty-hotel-corridor. But hey ho! The place is like a pub after 4 I'd say, and since reception is right next to the bar, there's no way of avoiding the disgusting old men who feel in their right to shout obscenities to a young lady. Hotel staff, not much better. If you're anything like me, it's nasty. Don't bother.

  Dont stay here Vile unhygienic fire risk...seriously how the hell are they legally allow to have visitors? I cant even list the amount of negatives found in this place! Apparently someone died in my bed a little while before I slept here. Great. Place is a dumping ground for contract workers. Has a bar so have fun sleeping with the noise. Needs shutting down.

  It was rundown. Now its dirty too.

  This is third time Ive stayed in this hotel. In the past, its been rundown but very clean and Ive left positive reviews. It was good value for money. This time it wasnt clean. Walking to my room there was a strong smell of urine coming from somewhere. In my room, there were clean sheets to sleep between but the bed spread didnt look clean. There were long black hairs in the bathroom (on the loo seat and on the wall), the loo seat was stained brown and there was something squashed into the carpet. When I arrived in the evening, the reception was welcoming but when I went down for breakfast in the morning it was very different. The two men staffing the place were almost silent and didnt seem very happy. I felt very uncomfortable. I was given the WiFi code on arrival but it didnt work so relied on 4G. Ive found myself an alternative for my next visit.

  Filthy, outdated & rude staff. AVOID!

  Absolutely disgusting! Ive never witnessed a hotel bedroom in such a poor state and void of the absolute basic cleaning standards. Bogies smudged down the side table to the smaller bed and on the wall, pubic hair on the toilet seat, carpet that hasnt been vacuumed since the hotel opened by the looks of it. Ive also never seen complimentary tea bags that are obviously part of a catering pack and not even individually packaged. I bet that would taste amazing. Oh, and the TV was hanging off the wall. After highlighting the issue to Booking.com, the male receptionist/manager charged into the bedroom demanding the key and pointed for us to leave. Absolutely disgusting behaviour. Fantastic response by Booking.com, received a full refund straight away and went to an alternative (far superior) hotel. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY OR TIME STAYING HERE. I should have guessed what the room was going to be like after seeing the onions wedges into the reception desk on arrival.

  Awful

  Awful customer service was atrocious rude smelly unhelpful needed to get some manners language used shocking Would advise anyone to never stay here. They need new staff and to allow people to wait for there transport once they have checked out instead of making them wait outside in the rain.
