  We had a wonder 3 nights stay at this lovely bed and breakfast. The place is clean, bed comfortable and the house was beautifully decorated for Christmas. The cumbric grill break fast is the best. Host is pleasant and friendly.

  Hidden gem

  Me and my girlfriend recently stayed at Ellerbrook House for a long weekend at the start of March. We checked in with Rob (earlier than stated kindly) who was very friendly, welcoming, and helpful in suggesting things to do, places to eat etc etc. Our room was brilliant with a very comfortable bed, Smart TV (only realised the last night) and a great bathroom and shower - all of which was spotlessly clean. There was also a very respectable Wi-Fi which was free and was fast and never dropped off... Wasn't a key factor for us but may be for some. The breakfast of a morning was excellent and set you up for the day nicely. At Breakfast on the first morning we met Becky and got talking to her. Just like Rob Becky is very friendly, welcoming, and helpful. We were very impressed with this B&B, it is very quiet and nicely located with a short 2 minute walk from a little highstreet, 2 minutes from a cosy pub, and probably less than 10 minutes walk from Windermere itself which has plenty to see and do. There is also plenty of parking directly outside the hotel on quiet roads so your car is very safe. Can't praise Rob & Becky enough for running a great B&B that is spotlessly clean, cosy, and welcoming. Will suggest to all our friends and family and would definitely stay here again.   Comfortable B & B

  This is the second time we have stayed in this establishment. We were given a friendly greeting by both Becky & Rob. the room was spotless & comfortable, and the location was within easy walking distance of the town centre. The breakfast choice was good, and the Cumberland breakfast was delicious & set you up for the day. Already booked again for later on this year.

  Lovely warm welcome

  Just spent a week here can't fault it. A warm welcome from Beccy when we arrived. Room spacious a comfy seating area to relax with 2 chairs so nobody had to perch on the bed to watch TV. Breakfast lovely and hot and freshly cooked. Highly recommend the home made yoghurt. So if your looking for a place to stay in windermere look no further

  Mid-week stay at Ellerbrook

  I can highly recommend Ellerbrook B&B. It is a lovely guesthouse and Rob and Becky make you feel very welcome. Really comfy beds, delicious breakfast and nice surroundings. Parked outside but walked into Windermere and Bowness from the B&B.
