  Perfect!

  Fantastic place for a self catered holiday. The apartment was comfy and very clean, with a well equipped kitchen and fresh towels and sheets every few days. Beautiful gardens all around, and great views across to the bay. Theres parking for a car if needed and an easy walk into town and local supermarkets. But best of all is the owner George and his family: we had a lovely warm welcome, daily offers of coffee and bottled water (and stronger drinks!), and a sweet good bye when we left. We were genuinely sad to go, and would stay here again in a heartbeat!

  Place to come back

  This place gave us first impression 6 years ago when we decided to learn something else after many years of travelling to Spain sea side. And that impression get us in love with Eliza,with Ag.Nikolaos and with Crete. It is not 5 or 4 star hotel but if you like to feel like local living in nice garden with small own hause then it is for. City beach and all common things you need are in walking distance. But having rented car you can find and explore a lot of beaches and other points of interest including Zeus cave. All within 1 hour drive.3rd time We were in Eliza and we always found something else to study. Thanks again to Georgius with his wife and to Melanie for great hospitality and time of happiness!!!   Charming & peaceful

  Weve just left Hotel Eliza after a wonderful 12 night stay. The property is completely charming, with well spaced out apartments, giving a real sense of peace & privacy. George, the owner, is the loveliest host - welcoming, hospitable & so generous, always offering iced coffees etc. We stayed in room 3, which was cosy, comfortable and had a lovely terrace over looking the pool. Location-wise, its about 20 mins walk from the centre of Agios Nikolaos (lake), but there are plenty of shops, restaurants & bars along the way. Nearest restaurant is 5 mins. Theres a small sandy beach (with sun loungers) 5 mins away too. We would highly recommend Hotel Eliza for a stay.

  Um not sure what to say

  Well where do I begin. The host is the only positive point. He is a wonderful man. Wi fi terrible, bedding average cleanliness if you call calcification in the bottom of the kettle then you are not clean. The pool is dirty. The location is not too far out of town in Agios Nikolaos. Will not go back

  Almost enough...

  Well as charming as the man was in personality and as a host the hotel could be better but was just enough for the 2 nights we spent there. It was homey and felt traditional but wasnt up to the 4 star standard although the fabulous host was the best part of our stay since he was also nice The internet was a little slow and disconnected us from it at times but it did work!
